R26 cellulite doesn't have to be related to how skinny or fat you are. Something like 80-90% of women have it in some capacity as they age. It has to do with three tightness of muscle fibers. In men, muscle fibers are closer together, therefore they aren't as prone to cellulite -- which is a layer of fat sinking into those spaces. I've seen very skinny women get celluite. They do say lifestyle can contribute and treatments to make it less obvious, but a lot of it has to do with biological factors (thinning skin, aging, collagen, being female, etc).

I do find it interesting that they used to say it was just something a majority of women just get naturally, to now claiming that *maybe* it can be mitigated. Idk if that's because of newer tech with laser treatments and cream, or a new way to shill for the beauty industries, that usually aren't as spectacular in results as they're made out to be.

Regarding Lara Flynn Boyle, you have no idea of the challenges, problems, medical condition, family history, mental health, financial well-being, job opportunities, acceptance, rejection of Ms. Boyle, Ms. Reid or the average Joe down the street. It's the result of a combination of terrible luck and unwise career and life choices.

With a good personal trainer (and maybe some top-notch nip-tuck action courtesy of one of those reality shows like Terry Dubrow's), Tara could get her body into pretty good shape. Then she'd need better representation to rehabilitate her image and get her career back on track. It's doable.
