I don't, but honey-fried chicken sounds fucking amazing.

It was popular for a while in my North Carolina city when I was growing up, but we didn't eat there because it was on the wrong side of town. However, we did patronize Minnie Pearl's Fried Chicken, which was better than the colonel's. It also didn't last long.

R2 Interesting thing about the Minnie Pearl's Fried Chicken is that it had a sister chain Mahalia Jackson's Chicken Dinners, one to appeal to more white areas and the other to more Black areas, but from all I can tell the food was the same. Sadly, both of them were women with sterling reputations who were dragged into a mess by John Jay Hooker. Both, Minnie Pearl and Mahalia Jackson were cleared of any wrong doing by the SEC. Hooker wasn't charged, either, but the investigation lasted over three years and killed the chains.

R5. Did they also serve fried fish there?

Your meal was served in a Pic-a-nic Basket by a waitress in a ranger's uniform.
