Beyond Tragic.
Even the models look like they're saying, Can I take this shit off yet?

So the outfit is calling Canada toxic?

I think it says Tokyo.

They can’t be serious. Are they actually serious? They’re not really serious, they can’t be.
I can’t believe they’re actually really serious.

Am I going to some sort of fashion hell if I admit to liking these?

Hideous.

Trash

Let me guess, they were designed by someone favored by the woke committee. Also explains why 2 out of the 3 models are racially ambiguous, they dare not have a white man modeling for them.

Why do Canadians do this shit? I ask this as a dual citizen of Canada and another, much more fashion-oriented country (though it may not be to everyone's taste all the time). There seems to be an attitude among Canadians of 'Let's not try too hard, let's go for the joke, let's show everyone we don't take ourselves seriously.' Well, why shouldn't Olympic-level athletes be taken seriously? They worked hard to get where they are. Why can't Canada outfit them properly? The comparison with the chic Ralph Lauren designs of the American Olympic team is painful.
Why, Canada? Why do you do this? You're an embarrassment.

Um, did Canada actually PAY someone to design this for them?
I think the designer should pay Canada.

They were designed by Hudson’s Bay and Levi’s. It’s supposed to be an homage to the Canadian tuxedo.
I hate the direction of fashion nowadays. Too sloppy, no respect for formality or pageantry. The global obssesion with urban streetwear and “casual athleisure” was inevitably going result in these Kmart-looking monstrosities.
Whoever approved this should be waterboarded with maple syrup.

R12 That's exactly Canada's problem - always going for a not-funny joke to cover up their fear of competition, trying to make a virtue of their crapness. An 'homage' to the Canadian tuxedo? How about learning how to wear a REAL tuxedo?

Stinky

The Games will probably be cancelled.

R17 Because of the Canadian uniforms? I hate them as much as anyone, but that seems a bit harsh.

Did Trudeau design them himself? If so, he needs to step down from the premiership. They do have a vague wokeness about them.

I detect the hand of former Governor-General Julie Payette in this design. She was a tacky bitch.

It shouldn't be called a uniform. It should be called attire.

Canada in da House, Bitches!

Even when Canada tries to be cool, it ends up looking dorky.
