I like how all of these Indian Americans are all solidly middle-class. Just watched Amrit on Watch What Happens Live. I'm impressed. He fit in like a natural, as if he's been on talk shows before. This is the first time Andy had anyone from Family Karma on. I hope he has Anisha and Vishal on soon too.

I really get into this show. The low key drama, in contrast to the phony, hyperbole drama that we see on the Housewives, the positive portrayal of the relationships between generations, I really like it. I also appreciate that the drama here is a tool to show how it can be resolved in a constructive way instead of teaching how to escalate it even further.

They did put a bit too much pressure on Amrit's grandmother. I mean, she didn't even understand the concept at first and they were already pushing her to accept it and bless Amrit and his partner and call the other relatives and announce it. I was like, "geez, give her a few minutes to process it".

I’m going to MARY myself for writing this but this show warms my heart. The friendships are real. The families are real. They fight and makeup. I loved seeing Anisha and Monica interact last night. It’s the opposite of trashy Shahs.

I'm with Mary. The show is good. It has heart. Besides what already has been mentioned, I like that the parents do not serve as the usual (a) crazy or (b) mean antagonists for the main folks.

And I noticed that the editing is actually quite clever. There was that event where all the older generations came together for socializing, the women all dolled up with big hairdo and crazy hats. And the editor cut in some peacocks watching that spectacle. Too funny.

I still think Vishal is gorgeous, but Krish is the most perfect, handsome man I've EVER seen!! Wow!

GREAT News! Starting tonight Bravo is re-airing the second season every week Tuesdays at 11:30 PM. They never do that with canceled shows. It's pretty much guaranteed now we're getting a third season!
