MeTV guesses your age based on your ideal TV family

I picked Clair Huxtable, George Jefferson, Wally Cleaver, Rudy Huxtable, Rose Nylund, Grandpa Munster, Aunt Esther, and Uncle Fester. It says I'm 43 but I'm 34.

MeTV guessed my age at 35; I am 72. Do I now have permission to tell everyone that I am 35?

They guessed me at 26. I'm 50.

They were off by 20 years with me.

I felt like the choices were bad. I didn't take it because few of the characters I actually like were on there.

Off by 13 years but then I didn't know who most of the characters are. I hate sitcoms.

They obviously guess your age based on the assumption that you'll choose the characters from your childhood. I'm in my mid 40s and it guessed I was 72 because I purposely chose shows from before I was born.

Damn, I'm 68 and they guessed me 73. I don't need anything to make me seem older than I am.

I'm 60 and it guessed 26. I think Phill Dunphy as my favorite dad threw it off.

I had a similar problem R17. First there were the rotten choices,, and then I didn't know most of the characters since I'm not a fan of most sitcoms.

I'm 59 MeTV guessed 64.

I forgot to disclose my own result when I posted this thread. They guessed 64 but I'm actually 55. Given how my choices were all over the place (from Aunt Clara to Phil Dunphy), I guess it could've been worse.

For a network that is all reruns, they don't take into account that many of these shows were watched by other generations. Just because you pick a lot of Andy Griffith show people doesn't mean you were alive in the 60's

Correct, R42. It's a stupid quiz assuming younger people never see old TV shows.

I couldn't finish it, by the older brother question I was unable to pick even one choice. I didn't know who most of the TV dads even were!

They'd probably guess my age as either "newborn" or "centenarian."
