There's a podcast interview with a makeup artist who was an early girlfriend, who admits he's a weird guy and says she was asked by another friend who was an actress: "Why do you think Rami made it and I didn't?", and she says she replied that it was because he was utterly focused, and would lock himself away, and punish himself rehearsing for days for auditions. There's a podcast interview with a former agent who says the same thing.

His life hasn't been easy, and he deserves all that's come to him. I think he's completely lost in The Little Things, but every great actor has the right to fail. Just look at Dench or Meryl, who can be both fantastic and terrible. I wanted to throw a book at the screen watching Dench phone in her performance in Pride And Prejudice.

There is no way to tell how to become a star. The biggest aspect is having star quality. Talent means nothing in the end.

JFC, you sap. It's not like Malek was the poor little match girl panhandling for pennies on the frigid sidewalk until Mr. Robot and Bohemian Rhapsody came along.
