52 Pick-Up is on Prime and other streaming now for free. Great movie!

Ann Margaret was lucky someone of Julianne Hough's stature would show up for her. Miss Margaret was wildly untalented, onscreen.

[QUOTE] Ann Margaret
Oh, dear.
by Anonymous | reply 4 | March 26, 2021 6:14 AM |
I hope Ann was spared the sight of Brendad Ickson working the red carpet.

Ann-Margret Olsson, 79. She turns 80 on the 28th of April.
by Anonymous | reply 6 | March 26, 2021 6:20 AM |
A little trivia...she never shaved her armpits, ever, you'll never see her photographed showing her pits.

R3. Ann-Margret was quite good in Carnal Knowledge and Tommy.
She also starred in the TV movies Who Will Love My Children? (1983) and a remake of A Streetcar Named Desire (1984). These performances collectively won her two Golden Globe Awards and two Emmy nominations.

Miss Ann Margaret never had to shave her knees either.
by Anonymous | reply 9 | March 26, 2021 6:24 AM |
I hope the Family Film Award presentation included lengthy clips from "Carnal Knowledge" and "Tommy"...

No Oscar for Ann-Margret, but she received and accepted Elvis’ loads all over her face, so there’s that.

OP, that has to be a wig.
Geriatrics have hair which has the fragility of spider webs.
by Anonymous | reply 13 | March 26, 2021 6:50 AM |
No, Swedish people are known to have lots of hair.
by Anonymous | reply 14 | March 26, 2021 6:52 AM |
I believe it's the "Wilma Flintstone" from the Wig Shop.
by Anonymous | reply 15 | March 26, 2021 6:53 AM |
It's her armpit hair brushed up her back and piled on top of her head maybe?
by Anonymous | reply 16 | March 26, 2021 6:57 AM |
............

Glad to see she has not become reclusive after the death of longtime husband Roger Smith.

R13, A-M has been wearing wigs for years.

Ann Margaret was busy at the studio everyday from 11:30 to 11:55 am. She expanded her hours as her talent became more well known. George Burns employed her early.
by Anonymous | reply 20 | March 27, 2021 5:10 AM |
Didn't George Burns and Jack Benny tag team her?
by Anonymous | reply 21 | March 27, 2021 5:13 AM |
Janet Leigh was pissed that her role in "Bye Bye Birdie" was trimmed and Ann-Margret's was enhanced.
by Anonymous | reply 22 | March 27, 2021 5:20 AM |
I liked her in whichever Grumpy Old Men film she was in.
by Anonymous | reply 23 | March 27, 2021 5:22 AM |
A lot of Grumpy Old Men have been in Miss Ann Margret. Enjoyable.
by Anonymous | reply 25 | March 27, 2021 5:31 AM |
R12 And for that reason, she was a lucky girl, that one.
by Anonymous | reply 26 | March 27, 2021 7:01 AM |
I had the opportunity to work with her for a few weeks back in the day. She is/was a lovely kind woman. I still get Christmas cards from her.
by Anonymous | reply 27 | March 27, 2021 7:42 AM |
Somebody get that old bitch off the stage. She can’t even wear her famous slut heels anymore. People feeling sorry for her pulled focus off of the real star who was in attendance......me
by Anonymous | reply 28 | March 27, 2021 7:53 AM |
Even in one of the worst films ever made, Ann-Margret was hot as fuck.
by Anonymous | reply 29 | April 5, 2021 6:39 AM |
She looks like Peggy Cass in OP's photo.
by Anonymous | reply 30 | April 5, 2021 7:03 AM |
very sexy!

TWICE IN A LIFETIME is on TCM at 4am EST. What a great little movie.
by Anonymous | reply 32 | April 30, 2021 5:47 AM |
She didn’t exactly make family films.
by Anonymous | reply 33 | April 30, 2021 5:59 AM |
I loved her in 1972's "The Outside Man" with Jean-Louis Trintignant, Roy Scheider and Angie Dickinson.
by Anonymous | reply 34 | April 30, 2021 6:01 AM |
R34 Ann-Margret and Angie Dickinson appeared in the same movie?
I wouldn't know one from the other
by Anonymous | reply 38 | April 30, 2021 6:20 AM |
Saw part of a zany Austin Powers type movie on TCM last night. a-M and Dean Martin. She looked so beautiful and both their costumes were amazeballs and super 60s hip.
by Anonymous | reply 39 | April 30, 2021 6:23 AM |
R38, from what I recall Ann & Angie had no scenes together in "The Outside Man". But apparently they've been friends in their personal lives for decades. Here they are with Altovise Davis (Sammy's widow).

She was fantastic in Tommy.
She slept with George Burns?
by Anonymous | reply 41 | April 30, 2021 6:29 AM |
I wonder if Ann & Angie compared their breast size?
