The one bad horror movie I cannot get through after multiple attempts. It’s so bad it’s just not even good.
How was this dreck made in 1988?

I love that movie. It's so bad it's great. I've seen it at least give times.

The two really hot guys make it worth sitting through.

It's got John Allen Nelson

Love it! I think Mike and Dave were into each other by the end of the movie.

I watched this movie many years ago. From my perspective it was black humor and thus its schlocky flow and plot was all part of the package.
However, the clowns were really, really creepy.

OP, is there anyone or anything about the film that intrigued you?
It seems very random and peculiar to start a thread about a film from 1988 that you didn't like.
Is there more to this?

R8, I’m a huge horror aficionado and love even the bad Argento movies. I started to watch Killer Klowns again tonight because I saw it was leaving Netflix at the end of the month.
Maybe I’ll finish it after I finish The Bye Bye Man.

They managed to make popcorn and cotton candy creepy, so well done!

It's too bad the OP has no appreciation for camp, because KILLER KLOWNS has some funny moments and designs. It also has legendary actor John Allen Nelson, but sadly, it did not display his killer beefcake.

Mystery solved. Thanks R11.

I love that movie, there should be a remake or a sequel. It's weird that the girl who plays the girlfriend played the girlfriend in just about every other horror movie that came out around that time, then just disappeared.

I haven’t seen it in YEARS but loved it as a kid when they would show it during Halloween. I might have to check it out again.

R11 um HOLY SHIT at that beefcake. Got any more of that to spare?

It's one of my all-time favorite cult films. What they were able to accomplish with a relatively low budget, is astounding. I own and love it. This is my favorite scene.

You can watch BAYWATCH for more John Allen Nelson.
Or this show, which is actually fun:

I think I saw it was leaving Netflix on March 31st - I decided I was going to purchase it on Amazon.

It was 1988. You had to be there.

Plenty of B-rated schlock in the ‘80s.
VHS opened the floodgates..

This movie is a classic.

This, and ET ripoff Mac and Me are two of my favorite ‘80s schlock movies. I do think it was a “you had to be there” sort of thing.
I was little then, but the ‘80s were a strange time.

Very curious, why would you make "multiple attempts" to sit through a movie you think is garbage and are not entertained by?

Yes indeed, we too use "cookies." Take a look at our privacy/terms or if you just want to see the damn site without all this bureaucratic nonsense, click ACCEPT. Otherwise, you'll just have to find some other site for your pointless bitchery needs.
