Are they trashy?
Nah, they are fun. We take it out to the sandbar by Islamorada, where we drink and chill.

Well, they look trashy to me. Like a raft with an engine.

Well if Zodiacs are considered pontoon boats, then Zodiacs are the mainstay of adventure and eco-tourism. Nobody does a rain forest tour or goes whale-watching in polar regions without piling into a zodiac!

No. Zodiacs are different. Pontoon boats are “large and in charge” and made to party.

A Zodiac is an inflatable boat, not a pontoon boat. No-one into boats considers a pontoon boat a real boat, they're just party boats, usually owned, more usually rented by a bunch of loud drunks. Trumpers love pontoon boats.

Thanks, r5. I knew it.

Here's a nice Zodiac - these cost in the $20,000 range.
I live on a big trawler in Key Largo and it's nice to have a zodiac to get around. Many outdoor beach restaurant/bars have docks so you can cruise up and hop out to eat/drink.

Naya Rivera and her pontoon didn’t get along.

No. They're pretty fun if you're with the right crowd.

Here is a picture from window right now as we speak. We live on a old lake. Pontoons galore. It’s fun and easy. Go ahead DL make fun. 1984 vintage pontoon is ours.

Why didn’t you get a real boat?

Not sure if Rehoboth is doing the pontoon gay pride thing again in 2021, but it's been fun in the past.

Pontoon boats or party barges, as they are called, are a blast. They can look kind of funny pulling a skier...they are not the sleekest type of boat out there.

Does your party affiliation matter when it comes to pontoons, r16?
by Anonymous | reply 17 | March 6, 2021 8:16 PM |
No, but I'm not a Trumper and love me a party barge.

"He may be a hairdresser in a strip mall salon with a community college degree in cosmetology, but at least he doesn't own one of those pontoon boats, Chesterfield. I do think we should let him into the club."

It depends on who you know. You might get a supermodel or you might just get Lindsay Lohan.

Pontoon boat? What the hell are you gonna do with a pontoon boat? Retake Omaha Beach?

My grandpa and grandma had one when I was a kid. They had a beautiful little lakefront home. Some of my fondest memories were out on the pontoon with family and friends. My grandpa rarely smiled but always did playing captain on that boat. I remember sitting at the very front with my feet in the water while going full speed. Good times!
