Not exactly a child star, but last night I went down a rabbit hole and watched a 1971 TV movie of the week called "Maybe I'll Come Home in the Spring," starring 24-year-old Sally Field as a teenage hippie chick who comes home to her suburban family. I vaguely recall watching it as a kid. Anyway, Lane Bradbury played Sally's younger sister, even though Lane was 6 or 7 years older than Sally in real life. I looked up Lane today and she's......82!! Having played a TEENAGER on a show I watched when I was 10. I had to laugh; time certainly does fly. Anyway, she looks great.

Actually. lane Bradbury was the original DAINTY June in “Gypsy” on Broadway, and sang on the OBC album. She was also in the original Broadway cast of Tennessee Williams’s “The Night of the Iguana” while still a teenager— her role in the film version was played by Sue Lyon. The stories she must have from working on those two shows alone must be amazing.

She’s a terrific actress, did a lot of TV after she relocated from NY to LA in the 60s, and was always a welcome sight.

Can't stand them but Candace and Kirk Cameron are both attractive middle aged adults. Candace was pretty homely as a little girl but blossomed into a pretty teenager and woman. Kirk aged well and is still cute. Both are morons though.
