I applaud him coming forward. We don't often hear about males with eating disorders

"We rarely hear about males with eating disorders". True. Nobody says a man has an eating disorder if he's 100lbs overweight but about 6% of all American men are. And while some may just need to cut back on food and ramp up the exercise, there's plenty of disorder in there for most of them.

Incidentally, 4 out of 5 people in overeaters anonymous are female. Because its hard for a man to admit has a problem, even if he's 100lbs overweight and everyone can see that problem from space.

Anorexia, I can understand... but bulimia? Isn't that just so wasteful?

by Anonymousreply 3February 15, 2021 3:46 AM

It looks like he has a hair disorder too.

A ton of men have eating disorders - but it's just not manly to have them, so a lot don't seek help.

Anorexia, binge eating, food addiction, bulimia - all of it.

He sounds EXHAUSTING.

*yawn*

As a Christmas goose. This is him and his partner Paul Atkins, no relation to Chet.

He’s turning into a male Lens. Next up, long-haul COVID and fibro.

The Disingenuous Troll and his crew are busy starting threads and then self responding like a feeding frenzy.

This thread is a perfect example: contrived idiocy.

He has extremely short, fat fingers in the photo I posted at R7.

by Anonymousreply 11February 15, 2021 11:33 AM

R11 he’ll never find the lesbian of his dreams then!

John didn't bake these buns.

I have learned never to trust a man with squirrel fingers, even if your cock looks bigger when he’s holding it!

Sorry to hear it, and hoping he finds a way to live in contentment despite it.

All the same, I have to admit I’m personally soured on and biased against males with ana-mia, if only because my übercunt of a rich cousin had it as a teen and used it as a excuse to almost destroy my family. I think oftentimes it is comorbid with more insidious cruel pathologies, especially in men.

This isn’t man-hating dyke bitterness, either. I have known probably a hundred cases of ana-Mia in females (girls’ school for seven years, aka The Tenth Circle of Hell), some of whom were close to psycopathic. Just because you have a disorder, it doesn’t make you entirely sweet and sympathetic nor does it exonerate poor treatment of others.

Most people I’ve known with it were kind and decent, though. I wish sufferers like that every bit of happiness, because it’s a bitch of a condition.

He seems like an exhausting attention whore. Yes, his mommy is dreadful and withholding and who knows where daddy is, but the rest of us have been over him for ages. James, the doc in fair isle sweaters and nerd glasses should have been the star baker.

by Anonymousreply 18February 15, 2021 1:05 PM

If he weren't an attention-hungry millennial narcissist exhibitionist, he might care less what others think of his body.

I wouldn’t kick him out of bed. I might not make him breakfast, though.

by Anonymousreply 20February 15, 2021 1:13 PM

Actually, the star baker should make breakfast.

by Anonymousreply 21February 15, 2021 1:14 PM

I always thought Brendan should have won their season. He was lovely and not an attention whore.

by Anonymousreply 22February 15, 2021 1:43 PM

He's obviously fallen off the wagon.

by Anonymousreply 23February 15, 2021 2:02 PM

What does the tattoo above his minge say?
