No. They're divorced in 2002. Lynne is the one who pushed Brit into the spotlight and was lenient on Britney because she wanted her to be successful and live out her dream through Britney. She threw Britney to the wolves. And to add insult to injury, Lynne even wrote tell-all books about Britney and overshared tons of details about their personal lives for sales. Lynne was the one who introduced Britney to Sam Lutfi and apparently went AWOL when Britney began her breakdown. And now Lynne is trying to get involved with daughter again thanks to #FreeBritney. I'm starting to think it was Lynne who started #FreeBritney to spite Jamie and become the conservator for Britney and get Britney to perform again and steal the money. What a perfect wholesome Christian mother she is.

Don't forget the sister who got knocked up by a producer while on a Nickelodeon show.

I find it ridiculous everyone is siding with Lynne Spears who pimped both her daughters out. Lynne started this #FreeBritney movement for ulterior motives and I bet Britney's "bf" Sam is in on this too.

Poor Britney. Between her greedy family, evil grifters and her moronic fans who are harassing everyone online and spreading misinformation. I would not be shocked if she had another breakdown.

Wasn't Lynne who convinced Britney to get breast implants? Wouldn't Britney have needed her mother's consent to have plastic surgery? I believe she was 17.

Lynne was the one who was watching Britney during her teen stardom. She let Britney sexualize herself as a minor in BOMT, she encouraged Britney to get breast implants, she told Britney to tell the press that she was a virgin waiting until marriage, she let Britney do that Rolling Stone cover, she put Britney on pills to keep her performances up and she introduced Britney to Sam Lutfi. Lynne was the one who messed Britney up yet nobody calls her out. Jamie is just an old Southern man who is a bit too strict and doesn't even want Britney to be in the spotlight.

This whole #BelieveWoman and #MeToo thing can backfire on girls who are victims of abusive older women. Lynne is playing the victim and allowing the press to smear Jamie Spears. Lynne just wants to take control over Britney again.

At the moment, this might all just be hearsay, but we’ll find out the actual contents of the tell-all on September 16th when it hits bookstores.
