This guy in high school in the 80's whose name I can't remember, but he was REALLY beautiful. Blond hair, brown skin, always wore a little shell necklace. He was really popular, but I think he was gay and couldn't handle it in this godforsaken little town. Rigged up a shotgun in his car and pulled the trigger.

R35, The Young and the Restless actor Kristoff St. John died from heart disease, and alcohol was a contributing factor, the Los Angeles County coroner’s office said Tuesday.
The coroner’s report listed the star’s official cause of death as “hypertrophic heart disease” — a condition that thickens the heart muscle and can make it harder for the heart to pump blood, according to the Mayo Clinic.
The manner of death was determined to be an accident.
St. John, 52, was found dead at his home in the Woodland Hills neighborhood of Los Angeles on Sunday, Feb. 3, 2019.

Her name was Evelyn McHale, r19, and as you may know she was set to be married. I always wondered if she was a lesbian.
[quote] Born September 20, 1923 and one of seven siblings, she was a child in Washington D.C. when McHale’s mother left the household and her parents divorced. Her father, a bank examiner, retained custody of all the children. After high school, McHale became a WAC, stationed in Jefferson, Missouri. She made her way to New York City where she worked as a bookkeeper and lived quietly with her brother and sister-law in Baldwin, Long Island. She met her fiance Barry Rhodes, a Pennsylvania college student just discharged from the Air Force, and was a bridesmaid at the wedding of Rhodes’ younger brother.
[quote]On April 30, 1947, Evelyn took the train from New York to Easton to visit Barry for his 24th birthday. All seemed well between the couple, and the next day, Barry kissed his fiance goodbye as she boarded the 7:00 AM train to Penn Station. “When I kissed her goodbye, she was happy and as normal as any girl about to be married”. Their wedding was set to be held at Barry’s brother’s home in Troy, New York, that June.

I remember working backstage on a show. You couldn't imagine how devastatingly beautiful Christopher was, and a kind, sweet guy, too.
We get halfway through the run and learn that he killed himself.
I couldn't understand at the time why a man so beautiful could do that.

I don’t think that article mentions he never again shot a picture that was published. I read that elsewhere.

Agree with Kurt Cobain. If he had washed his hair and led a healthy diet, he would have looked as handsome as Brad Pitt. Even though he was extremely handsome, he never came off as sexy, because of his socially anxious body language and attitude. About 25 years after Kurt's death, one of his band mates revealed that Kurt believed he was ugly. It was one of the cognitive distortions that accompanied his social anxiety. (Perhaps it was the result of years of bullying.) Kurt kept a photo of himself in his wallet, and it was the only photo in which Kurt thought he didn't look ugly.

My best friend was gorgeous, really one of the most handsome men I'd ever seen.
I asked him once, you do know that you're exceptionally handsome, right?
He begged off; I wasn't attracted to him. I tend to fall for more confident guys and I realized when it was too late I wasn't looking for him to take care of me. I was looking to take care of him.
I wish I could have helped him. Think about him every day.

Actor Brad Bufanda (Veronica Mars, et al.)
by Anonymous | reply 111 | February 10, 2021 8:17 PM |
Considering her history I'm sure Marilyn did it to herself. If you look at the rushes from her unfinished film 'Something's Got To Give' she was more than goodlooking. She was more beautiful than she had ever been.
by Anonymous | reply 112 | February 10, 2021 8:19 PM |
Marilyn had a very traumatic childhood. I wouldn't be surprised if those traumas continued to haunt her even after she became rich and famous. Combine that pain with the pressures of Hollywood and a love life that wasn't perfect, and it's easy to understand why she would have committed suicide.

Marilyn most likely overdosed accidentally. We will never know the specifics of her state of mind at the moment of her death so stop speculating. It will remain an unsolved mystery forever.
