First Look at Kristen Stewart as Princess Diana

Kristen Stewart is prettier than young Diana was. Though Diana got quite good looking as she matured. In this photo, it's a sufficient resemblance not really an accurate resemblance.

I'm worried about the accent.

A sufficient resemblance just like R2 says. We would know who she's supposed to be. I guess whatever this film turns out to be will be interesting to see.

I found the perfect actress to play Diana. Unfortunately it’s a bit too late...

Kristen Stewart better act her ass of in this, because from what I can see, she's not pulling it off.

I'm concerned. She played Jean Seberg just as herself in some cool 60s clothes. I wonder if that's all she can do- play slight variations on her surly self?

I don't think she's motivated to do anything else. It's got her this far after all...

Today's Blind Items - On Hold

If you asked me a year ago if this A- list actress was going to transition from a woman to a man, I would have said yes, without question. She and her team has made a plan and she had scheduled surgery and was starting to take medicine. They had made plans for cover stories for weekly and monthly magazines and were talking to networks about first interviews.

Then boom, the pandemic came. All of that planning came to a halt. The actress started thinking about and if she wanted to go through it and what would happen to her career. Would she get any work? Everyone knows who she is, so even when her movies bomb, and they do, she gets a lot of work. High paying work.

Then, when she heard the news of the other actress, she said no. She said she wasn't going to do it any longer. She is not a big fan of publicity, and realized it would just bring a ton down on her.

It's weird because Elizabeth Debicki, who is also to play Diana (in the next season of The Crown), is also very mannish. but I do not think of Diana herself (or of Emma Corrin) as mannish at all.
