She was fantastic in those films, especially White Oleander. She's a great actress. Picky about parts and maybe a little lazy. But when she's on, she's spectacular.

Honey, anyone who dares say that Michelle is overrated will never be taken seriously. She’s one of the best actresses ever to hit the screen.

I love Michelle Pfeiffer (who is a superb actress), but she looks nothing like Betty Ford. Betty had a sizable nose when she was in the white house, and even though she was a former dancer she was not rail-thin at that age as Michelle is. Michelle would actually have been better cast as Nancy Reagan, believe it or not. Nancy was also very thin and had a small nose like Michelle's, and she was also very steely although joking and smiling (Pfeiffer is excellent at doing that.

Down the road, I would love to see Patricia Clarkson as either Pat Nixon or Lady Bird Johnson. Nicole Kidman would actually be quite well cast as Grace Coolidge.

Does anyone remember how brilliant Joan Allen was as Pat Nixon? I think she was even nominated for an Oscar. Sad that she hasn't had very good acting opportunities in recent years.

I think she's just as good as Streep and I think she has a lot of range as an actress. But she is too picky and gave up too many important parts.

R29...I really liked Joan Allen in The Upside of Anger. Michelle Pfeiffer has good range..comedic and dramatic roles.

Too bad Joan and Michelle never got a chance to do a Crimes of the Heart type film where they played sisters.

I wish they would cast a talented asian or white actress in the roll of Michele Obama. Can you imagine the anger and indignation that would follow?!?? lol I think Ms Davis would make a great Lady Bird Johnson.
