Vicious was said to be attractive in real life - some people described him as good-looking and many said he had real charisma, maybe in person that made him for his rat face and poor hygiene.

I think Nancy is demonized. She was mentally ill and possibly autistic. So not her fault if she was shrewish. The whole Sid and Nancy relationship should not be glamorized. Two mentally delayed junkies in a codependent relationship should illicit pity not idolization. But of course it will be glamorized just like Bonnie and Clyde and Harley and Joker.

Sid had a cute face and it certainly helped get him attention. He's basically the Britney or Bieber of punk rock. Very little talent, came from a white trash home with shitty parents, had a manufactured image by his manager, was a total wannabe, not very bright, ended up exploited, addicted and dead. Still became the face of a movement and certainly had presence and charisma on stage.
