Listen to how b e a u t i f u l Kelly Clarkson's voice shimmers and soars on this duet. Yeah, they both do a bit too much, but their voices are in top form. Gorgeous instruments. Kelly has a grade A voice, for a million reasons. Not much that woman can't do vocally. Gaga tried this kind of singing - she's a C+ on a good day.

Fireworks are like parades, in that they don't translate well to TV, but got damn, I was almost in tears over the spectacular majesty of those fireworks. I've never seen anything like it. The vision of the fireworks framed by the Washington monument, and the way they filmed the Bidens watching them from the WH balcony was breathtaking and moving.

I especially liked when they did a tsunami of all-red fireworks at one point. It took my breath away.
