Hallmark has requested Senators Josh Hawley and Roger Marshall – who voted against the Electoral College results last week – return campaign contributions to its PAC in light of the U.S. Capitol violence.

Hawley is a reactionary, radical fundie. So fuck Hallmark for giving him money to begin with. Not a nice "christian". He's a fascist.

True, R2, but in Missouri you do [bold)not[/bold] fuck around with Hallmark.

I’m with you, r2.
Why did you donate to him to begin with, Hallmark? Now that you see the wonton death and destruction all around you, NOW you want to save face?
You just knew that over half of America would find out you donated to him and it would affect your bottom line. Don’t make out like you’re standing on high fucking ground here.

Maybe just egg roll for me.

Isn't it tacky to ask for a gift back? Also, doesn't it look bad to publicly request the money back, outing yourself as a donor in the first place? Fuck Hallmark.

"True, [R2], but in Missouri you do [bold)not fuck around with Hallmark."
Hardly. 50 years ago, when Hallmark was an economic force, Missouri was also the headquarters for such formidable corporations as McDonnell Douglas, Monsanto Chemical, Ralston-Purina and Anheuser-Busch. And even then, Missouri was controlled by down-state, small town/rural Baptist politicians.

R12 There are many attempts at humor on DL; rarely do they hit the very center of the bullseye as you did. Thank you for my chuckle of the day.

R15, I’m the poster who posted the “wonton” comment and he had even me laughing my ass off.
He’s one of the many reasons I come to Datalounge.
It didn’t look right when I typed it but shrugged and said I guess the spelling is right.

Hawley gambled and he lost. He will never be president and now his party hates him. The MO governor wouldn’t even defend him. He thought by objecting he would seal up the deplorable vote but he failed to realize those people only care about Trump, and most of them will never vote again.

Most of them didn’t vote this time.
One of the people locked up, I forgot whether it was lectern or the other “organic food only” moron, hasn’t voted since he registered in 2004.
