After 40 or so most people's faces start to sag ever so slowly, its just a part of life. You need a little fat to keep your face looking younger, sometimes at the expense of a rock hard bod. Mario Lopez wanted to keep the hard body so he had his face filled lol.

Aside from anything unknown he might've experienced in his youth, I know he was dealing with bankruptcy and divorce relatively recently. That could explain what looks like his hyper-devotion to fitness. I preferred his look about ten years ago, but as long as he's happy.

He looks unhealthy, especially when you compare to what was. We all age and change but he looks like he's battling a disease, not age. Something's wrong.

The US has become so used to out of shape, slightly overweight dad bods, that they've ignored the fact that there really is no medical advantage to carrying around that extra layer of fat. Looking lean and mean has somehow become 'sickly' to you when in fact it's the most healthy way to live.
