Tommy Lasorda is dead to me!

I swear I’ve read about him dying on two separate occasions already. It was like this with Jack Palance, too.

"Sorda" means "deaf" in Italian. So Tommy La Sorda is DEAF to me?

I thought I heard about him dying in the past as well.

Hold on, I was confusing Lasorda with Whitey Ford somehow, who died last October. No idea HOW I got them confused but I think my brain is just overloaded with information and my synapses aren't firing correctly anymore.
