Do you ever wonder whether rabid speculation about Richard Armitage and Lee Pace contributed to their breaking up?

Since neither was out while they were clearly together and the world was speculating wildly, I wonder whether the pressure was part of the reason they broke up.

Just the odd NYE thought.

Who?

No. Lee has huge issues. Remember when he botched his coming out? LOL! It was worse than Kevin Spacey’s.

Exactly. He's such a mess that it seems like so much talk and speculation about something he was trying to keep quiet would have made him a bit, ahem, strained.

Not to mention that Armitage had his own issues about coming out.

The bizarre GIFs that accompanied the endless "La Belle Pace" threads traumatized me, to the point where I automatically FF any thread OP that begins with "La Belle....."

How did Pace "botch" his coming out?

He's out.

Armitage isn't.

Didn't Kevin Spacey come out by sexually assaulting a teen boy?

I guess that is one way.

by Anonymousreply 6January 1, 2021 4:55 AM

No, I didn't

They dated when each was their hottest. They should cherish that memory.

by Anonymousreply 8January 1, 2021 5:51 AM

I always thought Lee could do better than Richard Armitage.

I didn’t realize their were so many gays in The Hobbit. I guess the scripts weren’t the only things that sucked on that set.

I’m rewatching Halt & Catch Fire. Lee looks like his name should be Patrick. He, also, looks as though his sweat smells like cold cuts. The scenes with him and Scoot McNeary are funny because Scoot looks like a midget next to him.

Richlee shippers & fantrolls are/were scary people. Certainly they did not help matters.

An Elf? And a Dwarf? Together? An outrage not to be borne!

by Anonymousreply 15January 1, 2021 12:41 PM

Pace traded him for a Billy Idol impersonator.

Who is Richard’s mysterious man that he kinda step out of the closet for?
