Are they still a thing? I only hear about them on that rerun of The Golden Girls.
Its included in the Autumn Harvest selection of the buffet.

I've had the Denny's Lumberjack Slam before. It's not really a crazy amount of food. Pretty good, actually.

I’m pretty sure people eat quinoa and açaí bowls with kale-infused sauce for breakfast nowadays.

It is NOT included with the Once Around the Garden option.

In this time of political turmoil and global pandemic, is anything included in the Once Around the Garden option anymore?

Yes, they're a thing. Generally called the Insert-Restaurant-Name-Here special.

Eggs Benedict with potatoes (large cubes) is probably my favorite breakfast.

I've only dined in a Lumberjacks Restaurant once and that was while visiting Grass Valley, CA. I must say their eggs were delicious. I later found there is a Lumberjacks in a nearby town but haven't eaten there yet. While I enjoyed the food the portions are far larger than I typically eat for breakfast and I must maintain my slender silhouette.

I had it once with really good crab cakes ("Eggs Neptune"), R15, and it was heaven. It's one of my absolute favorites.

They are now called Cardiovascular Accident breakfasts.

These are derivative of breakfast specials at nearly every breakfast joint.
I think the difference is more than one meat selection (two or three) and more than one type of carb - so pancakes AND toast, for example.
But, still, I've seen plenty of non-Lumberjack breakfasts that come with more than one meat and one carb. It's just a marketing name instead of Combo #8

I used to love eating that when I was a fat whore.

My husband would order one Lumberjack breakfast and I would order a fruit salad, and then we would share both. It was the perfect amount of food for two people. The fruit would break up the carb/protein fest.
