I found a habitable 7 bedroom, 6 bathroom house for $329k. I know what this is worth!
I am underwhelmed.
Is that kitchen flooring original? The grime seems to be embedded in.

R1 that’s part of the charm! It looks like that shabby chic look the poors talk about?

It's fine - obviously dated furniture and an undesirable city. What's with the beds? Looks like it was a elder care home or something.

I’m poors.
But, I lost interest looking at the pics so that means I also underwhelmed. The exterior is cute.

Why do realtors think they need 81 photos? People don't want to click through that many photos to see what a house looks like. I lost interest after the 11 exterior and 7 foyer photos. Eighteen photos in and I still don't know what it's all about.

I love anything Dust Bowl adjacent. I have bought coffee table books on the subject and have Carnivale on DVD.

That's what I was thinking, R3. Elder care. And that tub just set up in a corner of the second bedroom? And we didn't get any photos of the reverse of that shot (toilet, sink, etc.). It's not even a legitimate bathroom.
I wouldn't feel comfortable without a sub-basement space specifically for escaping tornadoes. I don't want to be buried under a collapsed house, but I don't feel like that basement would be low enough.

It looks like the word "Vacancy" may be on the left of the door. I was thinking it might be a B&B, perhaps with some meeting facilities. According to Google, it';s teh Boot Hill B&B.
It's also known as the "Burr Mansion", although it's basically a big "Dutch colonial".
It's near Boot Hill---my grad school roommate lived in Dodge City for awhile as a teenager---Boot Hill was the hang out for drinking and smoking pot.

It looks too much like the Amityville Horror house. No thanks.

EXACTLY, R9! I would never be able to look at those pie windows without wincing. No, no, no.

Creepy house. I bet it is jointed.

before looking at the comments, i had already had the thought it was a B & B. the mini-fridges in most rooms was the tip-off. Also, who has two separate dining tables in (one of) their dining rooms?

Prime location next to the Kansas Teachers Hall of Fame!

Yes, R9 & R10. They're both Dutch Colonial.
But it didn't take a demon for me to get the message. I just had to look at those "bedrooms", and "bathrooms".
"GET OUUUUT!", indeed.

Nice enough house; nothing a decent redecoration couldn't fix.
Shame about the location, though.
