Happy Holiday! Andy Williams with the Osmond Brothers

What gay man directed this flaming spectacle from the Sixties?

Andy looks pretty handsome here. Are those his own gay-looking brothers?

"Me oh my, everybody's gay!"

They sure are!

I'm still amazed that the first two brothers were born deaf and the parents kept cranking them out.

by Anonymousreply 2December 25, 2020 8:25 PM

The Williamses or the Osmonds?

by Anonymousreply 3December 25, 2020 8:27 PM

The Osmonds

by Anonymousreply 4December 25, 2020 8:28 PM

The Osmond Brothers were really talented.

I was freaked out when Andy Williams sang with his brothers. They were all variation of that same unusual face.

Andy was the boytoy of Kay Thompson, or so it has been said. It’s ironic that he was able to market himself as a paragon of Christmas virtue when he definitely lived the, uh, good life. Kudos, Andy!

Whoever was the dye man for this designer was a skilled craftsman. Getting all of those fibers and materials to be the same shade takes talent!

Happy Holidays? I had no idea the war on Christmas had been going on so long.

Is the youngest Osmond Donny or Jimmy?

by Anonymousreply 9December 25, 2020 11:05 PM

Andy Williams. Great voice. Had him on my sailboat once.

by Anonymousreply 10December 25, 2020 11:09 PM

I remember that Andy Williams brought the Osmonds on as they were, in his view, successors to the Williams Brothers. Wholesome, telegenic (even if, as said above, they all look weirdly alike), and good on the harmonies. Not suited to present-day tastes, but for us elders there is a certain charm there.

R2 Surprised!? They're fucking Mormon.

No wonder why some boomers rebelled and became hippies. This shit is painful.

Jimmy is the youngest but he wasn’t performing yet when this video was filmed.

Donny is the youngest queen here.

The Osmiroids were very talented, though my uncle had his removed.
