This piece sort of owns itself -- THR writes about Depp's radioactivity in Hollywood, but surely they were part of the whole operation that lauded and provided positive coverage in years past. His creepy and abusive behavior, the drug taking, the over-identification with, and over-simplification of, Keith Richards' persona have been plain for all to see. It does seem that the articles coming out now about Depp could have been written many times over the last decade, the only difference is that now the collective Hollywood perception has turned on him.
