Homemade spicy cinnamon hardtack, and Amazon gift cards. I make the candy every year. I'm known for it, and folks expect it. It's not going to blister your mouth, but it isn't that awful weak stuff that is mostly just sweet, with a tiny little bit of flavor, either.

It will go out in flat rate boxes with attached Christmas cards. I put it in freezer bags, wrap it, and put it into the box, and you can still smell the aroma through all of those layers. It's heavenly. The post office clerks were loving it!

This year, I'm going to vacuum seal the bags, so it may not be as noticeable. But it will be well-protected, and delicious.

No gifts for friends and family, except for the $200 I always send to my niece. Otherwise, I'll do my Christmas giving by donating to various charities. I've not sent cards for over 10 years and have one Christmas decoration that I place in a window (a15" neon Christmas tree). Does anyone really care how much effort you put into Christmas?

For years I shopped, cooked, decorated, etc. while getting very little sleep. (Sound familiar anyone?) Now I relax and watch a couple of Christmas movies (not Hallmark) and call it a day.
