She supposedly has rotten skin. Acne and scars from old acne. So she cakes it on.

The heavy foundation look for today's celebs seems counterintuitive, given that so much of the supposed fan-base and image-building is on social media, where celeb-types can take, pick and choose their own selfies and use all kinds of filters to airbrush their flaws.

She always seemed like someone I would be deeply disappointed to meet in real life. She's weird and doesn't have natural charisma - just awkwardness and a loud mouth.

It's odd to me that she had a baby with Orlando Bloom but they never got married. She has a religious background and did get married to Russell Brand.

Looks horrible. Wearing that much makeup ages you significantly, as does the dried out platinum die job. She also looks like she’s doing the Trump route with self tanners or the tanning bed—Orange o Rama! Does she think people are going to think she’s a blonde Polynesian?

I read that her nickname among makeup artists is “colours” as in it needs to be troweled on and in many shades just to make her look decent. Clearly she is overdoing it lately for some reason.

Her best song was Teenage Dream. Then Blaine from the Warblers snatched that one creative victory from her. She should have been a one-hit wonder like Jane Child, but here she is hanging on like herpes.

She's average without makeup. But when came out in the pop scene, she had big boobs and big blue eyes which contrasted her then-black hair which made her stick out. People were tired of the blondes: Britney, Xtina, Gwen, Gaga, Shakira, Fergie, Beyonce, Ke$ha etc. So Katy stuck out.

Even though people will say pretty people are more like to become celebrities because they are pretty. I'm quite surprised by how average a lot of female celebs are without makeup. Female celebs wear a lot of makeup too like Katy, Ariana, Beyonce, Cardi, J Lo etc. They are still good-looking without the makeup but not stunning or gorgeous looking like they appear in movies or on red carpets.

I see naturally pretty girls all the time on the street since many I encounter are into fitness, health and dieting and they don't wear that much makeup.

Cardi B is revolting with or without makeup, R16 But less so without.

She has no taste. It's why, despite looking near-identical to Zooey Deschanel, Zooey is considered to be very pretty while no one really thinks Katy is.

I believe firmly that short hair is a no-go for female pop singers. Olivia Newton-John's star dropped precipitously in the 80s with the anachronistic short cut of the "Physical" era. Str8 guys like long hair. Women consumers like long hair. Chopping it off like that comes off like she is uncomfortable with being attractive, even though so much of her persona is tied up in exactly that.

Ariana was cute back in the Victorious days. But she's looked like shit ever since. The botched eyebrow lift doesn't help.

I always wonder if she will be able to watch her music videos or her concert videos. I will have to squeeze my eyes to watch that shit if I were her, and cover my ears.

Orlando looks great without makeup. Katy looks forgettable without it.

I don’t think she looks like Zooey Deschannel or however you spell it, just because they both have long dark hair and are both “quirky.”

Talent or not aside, ZD is really pretty and has nice features, including big blue eyes. KP is plain more than anything.
