The BRF tolerate just about anyone willing to spend money on polo but for some reason they drew a line excluding Mo.

Mo tried to buy his way into polite society on numerous occasions with all the skill of a chainsaw. When people didn't fall on their backs for him, he tried to pull the old race card saying that his son and Diana were murdered by the Royal Family because they couldn't stand the idea of a Muslim so- in-law.

Of course, the consensus seems to be that Diana had no serious interest in Dodi Al Fayed. He was just a distraction.

Di may have been using the Fayeds just to spite the BRF/aristocracy. She wasn't a bitch by any means, but she was rebellious and sometimes spiteful when provoked. A lot of them affect the 'al' thing. It doesn't fool anyone. In Mo's case it appears to be used by him as head of the family: Dodi did not call himself 'Al-Fayed' nor does Omar. As for Eurotrash, Mo was born in Egypt so although he may be trash, he's merely Middle Eastern trash.
