San Jose, Calif is arguing with itself about whether to preserve this tedious example of Brutalism. Aptly named!

Anyone who lives in Suffolk County LI thinks this is better looking than Stony Brook University Hospital.

R5, Brutalism has that effect on me too; it's so bloody ugly that it can't help but draw your eye and fascinate too.

The one in Russia, in OPs pics. Well it looks heinous from some perspectives, like this vast plaza. Why didn't they ever finish it and use it?

From the garden side it has potential.
It could have been finished and used by collectives, or students or artists. Germany has converted bunkers and shit like that - alternative types don't mind making something liveable out of atrocious structures.
