Robert Montgomery's Girthy Peen Surfaces

Actor's bulge looks like it would choke a horse.

It did.

by Anonymousreply 1November 11, 2020 10:42 PM

It's shockingly visible but I'm not sure it's really that long. I think the very high waisted trousers give the illusion of more length than is really there because the top of the cock seems higher than in modern pants.

Though I'll admit, it's pretty thick!

by Anonymousreply 2November 11, 2020 10:44 PM

That last clip with him in the WW2 movie and his package is at camera level. WOW!

by Anonymousreply 3November 11, 2020 10:49 PM

I need to get out more, I watched all 6 minutes, and 46 seconds of that.

by Anonymousreply 4November 11, 2020 10:49 PM

He was so hot

by Anonymousreply 5November 11, 2020 10:55 PM

It must have had magical powers too he fathered a witch (Elizabeth Montgomery) with that thing

by Anonymousreply 6November 11, 2020 10:56 PM

Meh. Anyone who wears their pants that high should have a bulge.

by Anonymousreply 7November 11, 2020 11:05 PM

He was MGM's biggest male star at the beginning of the Talkies before Clark Gable came along and redefined what a leading man could offer.

by Anonymousreply 8November 11, 2020 11:06 PM

[quote]He was MGM's biggest male star at the beginning of the Talkies before Clark Gable came along and redefined what a leading man could offer.

Apparently in more ways than one.

by Anonymousreply 9November 11, 2020 11:42 PM

nice

by Anonymousreply 10November 11, 2020 11:55 PM

He was ultra right-wing conservative.

by Anonymousreply 11November 12, 2020 12:09 AM

Don't matter. He had a huge dick. Also, 1930s conservatives were NOT the same as today's Walmart Republicans.

by Anonymousreply 12November 12, 2020 12:11 AM

Well it's a good thing that watching his movies doesn't transmit his political beliefs into my brain, R11.

by Anonymousreply 13November 12, 2020 12:13 AM

Bette Davis hated him. They did a film together and she couldn't wait to be done with it and never see him again.

by Anonymousreply 14November 12, 2020 12:16 AM

YouTube is down. I can't see the bulge!

by Anonymousreply 15November 12, 2020 12:18 AM

I know right? I just thought it was my browser period I use Opera with ad blocker and VPN.

But I tried to open it in my YouTube app and all the videos are down 😕

by Anonymousreply 16November 12, 2020 12:20 AM

Youtube is down

by Anonymousreply 17November 12, 2020 12:21 AM

As soon as I want to see some girthy vpl, YouTube is down.

by Anonymousreply 18November 12, 2020 12:22 AM

[quote]YouTube is down

The coup has started!

by Anonymousreply 19November 12, 2020 12:27 AM

What a waste. A big dick on one of the least sexy actors.

by Anonymousreply 20November 12, 2020 1:01 AM

Not worth the time to watch. There's nothing great there that any man in high-waisted trousers doesn't have.

by Anonymousreply 21November 12, 2020 1:40 AM

Samantha must've been so proud of Dad.

by Anonymousreply 22November 12, 2020 2:00 AM

BIG DICK? I don't know what the hell you guys are on? It looked like any average soft dick. And the guy has the sex appeal of a garden slug.

by Anonymousreply 23November 12, 2020 2:25 AM

Joan Crawford hit that, right?

by Anonymousreply 24November 12, 2020 2:30 AM

Joan hit everybody.

by Anonymousreply 25November 12, 2020 2:37 AM

I'm with R23 - it just looks like he's a shower and not a grower. It doesn't look especially big to me.

by Anonymousreply 26November 12, 2020 2:40 AM

He was Eisenhower's media coach when Ike first ventured into television as POTUS.

by Anonymousreply 27November 12, 2020 2:46 AM

[quote]Joan hit everybody.

Except Lassie

by Anonymousreply 28November 12, 2020 2:48 AM

In "By Myself", Bacall wrote of meeting Montgomery at a party when she was new in Hollywood.

They had been flirting when he asked for her phone number which she readily gave him.

He walked away saying "Too easy".

by Anonymousreply 29November 12, 2020 2:50 AM

Are some of you kidding? That thing looked huge! Mr. Montgomery obviously didn’t own a pair of underwear, either.

by Anonymousreply 30November 12, 2020 9:56 AM

You could see better bulges on guys from the 60s when pants were tighter.

by Anonymousreply 31November 12, 2020 11:14 AM

100,000 worms have feasted on it since he went underground.

by Anonymousreply 32November 12, 2020 11:27 AM

Two words: PRE-CODE

by Anonymousreply 33November 12, 2020 11:31 AM

Looks like 25% of my male teachers in the 70s. Oh there was a social studies teacher, thing went half way to his knee. We joked about it amongst ourselves. And girls weren't horrified. A different age.

by Anonymousreply 34November 12, 2020 11:49 AM

I'm not sure he was ULTRA rightiwng conservative, that would be more like Eugene Pallette who thought there was a "black communist uprising" coming any day now thanks to the (at the time) new Democrats thinking blacks were human. He didn't think they were. Or Elijah Wood Jr who was a big fan of Hitler exterminating the Jews.

Montgomery was pro-HUAC and testified for them, but he also didn't name names. He did a big media-friendly speech about keeping the unions free from commies, which was bad enough, but especially for the time not considered "ultra" rightwing.

It does say something about Montgomery that Bette Davis couldn't work with him, though, because she could work with Pallette despite his craziness but not Montgomery. He did always seem a little off.

by Anonymousreply 35November 12, 2020 12:00 PM

Elijah Wood is a fascist?

by Anonymousreply 36November 12, 2020 12:06 PM

Shit, I meant Elijah COOK Jr, not Elijah Wood. This guy:

by Anonymousreply 37November 12, 2020 12:12 PM

It looks fake. And he was such a bland actor.

by Anonymousreply 38November 12, 2020 12:34 PM

Does Elijah wood have a huge pendulous cock? Because that would have been sexy on the slight young man he once was.

by Anonymousreply 39November 12, 2020 12:36 PM

It's from a bunch of different movies, many of which I've seen and know the scenes aren't fake. The stuff from NIGHT MUST FALL was the first thing I thought of before I even opened the video, I'd already seen it myself and noticed the bulge.

by Anonymousreply 40November 12, 2020 12:36 PM

Not interested.

by Anonymousreply 41November 12, 2020 12:38 PM

Why didn't the studio just make him wear briefs?

by Anonymousreply 42November 12, 2020 12:53 PM

R42 because it was not a concern. Like in my 70s high school. Where you could make out the exact shape of some teachers cocks. Nobody thought it was something that needed censor.

by Anonymousreply 43November 12, 2020 12:55 PM

[quote]Anyone who wears their pants that high should have a bulge.

Sadly . . .

by Anonymousreply 44November 12, 2020 12:57 PM

The seams on briefs were too noticeable under slacks back then, men on screen wore drapey boxers or went commando.

by Anonymousreply 45November 12, 2020 1:08 PM

With the pleated drape of full cut trousers back then there was no need for the discomfort of briefs. Most men wore boxers which acted more as a lining than a means of support. Briefs weren't popular until the mid1950s when pleats and high waists mostly disappeared and were replaced by flat fronts with tight crotches.

by Anonymousreply 46November 12, 2020 1:19 PM

[quote] Don't matter. He had a huge dick. Also, 1930s conservatives were NOT the same as today's Walmart Republicans.

They were worse. They wanted homosexuals institutionalized, left wingers blacklisted, Jews out of business and blacks at the back of the bus.

by Anonymousreply 47November 12, 2020 1:27 PM

The only thing we see here is that he wasn’t wearing any underwear

by Anonymousreply 48November 12, 2020 3:43 PM

And his skirt accidentally TWIRLED up!!!

by Anonymousreply 49November 12, 2020 3:59 PM

Damn

by Anonymousreply 50November 12, 2020 4:02 PM

Doesn't anyone know what pre-code means? It was before the Hays Code censorship rules - movies made before 1934 were free and wild in a way they weren't after.

by Anonymousreply 51November 12, 2020 4:48 PM

The early 30s films were pretty racy, but then the blue-nosed prudes and church groups yelled loud enough and the studios had to implement the Hays Code.

by Anonymousreply 52November 12, 2020 5:10 PM

"when he asked for [Lauren's] phone number which she readily gave him... He walked away saying "Too easy".

Bulges

Offsite Link
by Anonymousreply 55November 12, 2020 8:57 PM

As an eldergay, I must say that I don't think bulges, VPLs, and the like entered the minds of mainstream audiences most of the time. I don't think they really caught on like gay guys did because men were not objectified the way they are now, and the way that women have always been. I've watched a million movies with Robert Montgomery and I may have noticed in passing, there is nothing like a compendium to bring it all home. Also, keep a lookout for movies starring Warren Hymer. Early 30s Warner Bros. supporting player.

That said, my husband is huge down there and I have never seen him swing like good old Bob.

by Anonymousreply 56November 12, 2020 9:54 PM

^^Badly written, sorry.^^

by Anonymousreply 57November 12, 2020 9:55 PM

These are ridiculous. If the pants go up all the way to the point where the leg attaches to the hip, of course there will be a bulge.

This sidelined dick and balls don’t look sexy at all. What’s sexy is a frontal middle bulge.

by Anonymousreply 58November 12, 2020 10:25 PM

When a good tailor makes a custom made suit, a common question is: "Which side do you dress it?" A slight amount of fabric could be added to the right or left leg for accommodation. Perhaps many of these suits were off the rack and thus not tailored properly.

by Anonymousreply 59November 12, 2020 10:51 PM

^^ Or perhaps Ol Bob just liked to show off his package. Most people who knew him did not like him.

by Anonymousreply 60November 12, 2020 10:59 PM

I have that movie. Might have to watch it tonight.

by Anonymousreply 61November 12, 2020 11:00 PM

He and Elizabeth had a contentious relationship. There were years of estrangement where they did not communicate. He was not pleased when she married Gig Young.

I haven't normally been interested in or looked for bulge in photos or films of Robert Montgomery's, because while his identical daughter was beautiful, I couldn't think of it as being on her dad and making me think of him as being sexy in that way. So, NO!! ;D

by Anonymousreply 64November 13, 2020 3:05 AM

Oops, sorry, meant above to write, "...while his identical daughter's face was beautiful..."

by Anonymousreply 65November 13, 2020 3:07 AM

Samantha's kids didn't inherit her looks. Daughter looks like "family".

R66 Sometimes good looks will skip a generation.

by Anonymousreply 67November 13, 2020 10:03 AM

Robert Montgomery continued the line of Metro leading men vacated by William Haines, who, as probably everyone here knows, wouldn't capitulate to LB Mayer's demands to keep his gay private life private.

The Twenties and early Thirties wanted their heroes to be all-American preppies (before the term was coined) and Montgomery fit the bill of the elder college boy who could enter and believably ask "Anyone for tennis?" Think John Held illustrations. These types were a reaction to the exoticism of Rudolph Valentino's Sheik, a caricature that became horribly passe and silly even before Valention died and The Silent Era was over.

Montgomery was Metro's Golden Boy and fought to be taken more seriously but was mostly cast in hugely popular rom-coms, often opposite Joan Crawford. His appearance in Night Must Fall in 1937 (seen in the bulge clips) was particularly effective as it used his innocent image to play a twisted serial killer. And by then, his star was replaced by Robert Taylor and, of course, more importantly, by Clark Gable.

by Anonymousreply 68November 13, 2020 12:30 PM

He and Carole Lombard starred in Hitchcock's worst film, "Mr. and Mrs. Smith".

I get him confused with Robert Young. Did Robert Young have a girthy peen? Did Robert Montgomery enjoy Sanka brand decaffeinated coffee?
