Malek isn't conventionally good-looking, but I don't think he's ugly. He comes across as quite sweet in interviews. Would rather spend some time with him than some gorgeous airhead with no conversational skills beyond how handsome he is.....

To each his own, I guess, but I totally don't think Rami Malek is ugly. Yup, he has a pronounced jaw and large, round eyes. These things don't make him ugly, they make him decidedly non-Western in terms of male beauty. In fact, I think he looks like an Egyptian Prince, and from everything I've ever read about him, that's precisely what he is.

I like brown men and unusual looks so Malek is sexy to me. Hr looks very Pharaohic in those photos. He's a Copt not an Arab. I just wish he would come out but that's difficult given his ethnic background where his conservative religion ( Orthodox Church) is so tied up with said ethnic identity.

Rami is OK. Not ugly, Hardly a stud. He'd be below average in a roster of Egyptian actors, though not the bottom of the barrel.

Being born and growing up in the USA sadly removed the charm he might have developed if he really were an Egyptian man.
