We have some mutual friends. She moved back to Florida a few years back after her divorce. She was in her kitchen and was wearing slippery socks, slipped on the tiled floor, fell and hit her head. She had surgery a week ago and had been in a coma.

There are such better flooring options than tile. It’s just stupid in the kitchen. Not only can you crack your head, break bones, etc., if you drop a dish or glass it’s pulverized.

Funny you should say that r10. Delta Burke was Miss Florida 1974, leanza was Miss Florida 1992 when she won Miss America. When she was married to steines, he was interviewing delta and told her he was married to a former Miss America. When she found out it who it was she had steines get her on the phone and told her something like “you don’t know how much I’ve wanted to try on that crown” and I think leanza told her she hadn’t taken it off her head since she won.

I slipped on my kitchen tile floor, hit my head, and was out for at least an hour. An MRI later, I lucked out...mild concussion, but also some cognitive deficits. I'm replacing the tile with good quality vinyl sheet goods, i.e. linoleum.

Mark Steines and sons with new mom and sister, about three years ago.

This makes me really happy that I cut back on my drinking. I fell and broke my shoulder a couple of years ago, while drunk, and woke up with no memory of the fall. I’m so lucky that I didn’t hit my head.

Most of the time I laughed at what got them riled up but they were scary in some of their portrayals of us in those stories. I made lists of the rich & famous who did the show & boycotted their music, books & shows. Bigot lovers don't get any $$$ from me.
