He is more like the character, with blue eyes and black hair, almost the same height as Batman 1.88, Hout 1.89 and seems to have a stronger body and better health than emo with a drugged and skinny face Pattinson.
They should have chosen Nicholas Hoult as Batman.

And these tedious comic movies are only for weedy, powerless adolescents who are fascinated by muscled bodies as an escape from the dreariness of their existence.

Bruce Wayne character is not about being an emo child and pouting his lips this guy is miscast as a Bruce Wayne bit if he let loose and played eg the riddler I can see potential there.

This new Hollywood gimmick of casting pale English actors as American superheroes doesn’t work.

Biggest downgrade in CBM history but thank God for the SC and the fans common sense, now let’s just wait for ZSJL to make hundreds of millions of dollars and then WB would have to keep the Snyder verse going which means battinson the boy wonder staying in his own tiny universe.
by Anonymous | reply 17 | October 28, 2020 8:18 AM |
Does Hollywood think each skinny pasty Englishman is the next Christian bale ,first patty”the boy wonder”as Bruce Wayne and now tom “I wanna be Michael J fox”as Nathan drake ,when will Hollywood ever learn.

Nick was so hot as the kid in Tom Ford’s A Single Man. The way he flaunts his assets in front of the grieving main character is masterful. You just want to fuck his sexy little brains out.

Pattinson is underrated as an actor and an interesting choice. I don’t watch super hero movies but I would be curious about this one. Micheal Keaton was the only Batman I’ve liked.

Nick should have been cast as Harry Potter back in the day. Can you imagine the transition from the first film to the last? Amazing. Also, he look more like the physical description of Harry from the books.

by Anonymous | reply 44 | October 28, 2020 4:25 PM |
No. Hoult is fast aging out of his looks into some sort of praying mantis and can't act his way out of a paper bag. Hoult will be getting Clint Howard's roles soon...

by Anonymous | reply 48 | October 28, 2020 5:11 PM |
Nicholas Hoult is the most boring looking “actor” in the world. Actor is in quotes because he can’t act for shit.
Affleck was a better Batman than anyone expected and Robert Pattinson is and will be terrible. Best Batman was Bale. They should probably take a break from Batman movies and recast someone from scratch.
by Anonymous | reply 49 | October 28, 2020 5:53 PM |
Nicholas Hoult is gorgeous. Those brows are magnificent. But he is way too pretty for Batman.

He was perfect in Skins. Totally represented millennial sexuality in the mid 2000’s. He’d make a great Bond. But with the comments from writers they’re probably going to cast a black tranny as Bond. As if Britain needed more chaos.

Robert Pattinson looks/feels like a Batman to me. It’s impossible to get the looks of the comics. But Pattinson has an interesting look that definitely fits Batman.
He is also a good actor. People just aren’t giving him a chance because of Twilight but he has been spectacular in other roles.
by Anonymous | reply 60 | October 30, 2020 2:37 AM |
I agree R52 that it's a movie I will never see. I may watch parts of it when it comes on TV.
Similarly I lust for Henry Cavill but he only appears in cartoon movies directed at mind-dead millennials.
by Anonymous | reply 61 | October 30, 2020 7:26 AM |
Hoult (who has a beautiful and nice sized cock) has got a tall strong athletic build with some youth and elan. He could likely handle the physicality of Bond beautifully. I don't know if he can work up a quick-witted dangerous, icy-seductive face.

38r Tim Burton's Batman is bad. Let's see why. Jim Gordon is transformed into a completely irrelevant character. Have transformed you on a stupid police chief. If Burton had treated his source material with more respect, Gordon would not be such a character irrelevant. Commissioner Gordon is one of the first Batman characters. He and Bruce Wayne appear together on the front page of Detective Comics # 27. He has an important role in all the great Batman comics of all time. Instead, it is transformed into a incompetent joke, which you probably don't even remember being on Burton's Batman. Tim Burton did not like comics. Quoting Burton: “I was never a big fan of comics, but I always loved the image of Batman and the Joker. The reason I was never a fan of comics - and I think it started when I was a kid - is because I never knew which box should read. I don't know if it was dyslexia or whatever, but that's why I loved Batman: The Killing Joke, because for the first time I was able to read it. ” The Joker character, like many characters in Burton's films, changes from scene to scene. The only thing really clear about him is that he is chasing the same woman as Bruce Wayne / Batman. He's nothing more than a gangster with mental illness, looking for revenge. In all of Batman's other media, Bruce Wayne is presented as a good, troubled man who dresses up as a bat at night. But during the day, and in the public eye, Bruce Wayne tries to project the false identity of the "billionaire, philanthropist and playboy". The problem is that, in this film, Bruce doesn't seem to have that facade. He doesn't seem to have any ethics and sleeps with a drunk woman. And, during several scenes, he he watches villains doing cowardly things while he just looks and does nothing. There is no personality difference between Bruce / Batman. Vicky Vale has no other purpose, except to be a woman in danger. The only good thing about the 1989 film was the Batmobile. The tone is inconsistent. You can't decide whether it's fun, or dark and mysterious. The worst thing about the 1989 Batman movie is that people think it's good. For anyone who thinks Tim Burton’s Batman is the best, I encourage you to come back and watch as an adult, trying to avoid any feeling of nostalgia. It's not a good movie, nor a good narrative of Batman's story.

I imagine they’re keeping Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman, Jason Mamoa as Aquaman, the Shazams.
Henry Cavill might be out, and I think because of controversy they might replace Ezra Miller as well. Ray Fisher is def out as well.

I think Fisher is out, too; but he could still have a gig because if WB cuts him loose it looks like retaliation.
WB/DC is bullish on playing up the multiverse, so I believe that Pattinson's Batman is one Earth, with the Affleck Batman and JLA occupying another Earth. Just like how CW's Flash is on a different Earth from Miller's Flash.
by Anonymous | reply 84 | November 1, 2020 1:33 AM |
It's funny because DC made a HUGE deal of getting rid of their multiverse back in the 80s and for years everything was only in one universe but then they backtracked and brought back the multiverse.
