Ace was added much later as Vicky got older. She wasn’t always the annoying munchkin that she started out to be begging for the captains lab and pretending to go to school on a ship where she wasn’t paid much attention to other than to be used as slave labor.

Ace was the ships photographer and was hot as hell. My dad used to say he was insulted that the doctor got so many women when he didn’t look anything like Ace. Obviously he wasn’t a successful doctor if he was on the ship.

I just looked up pictures of him in recent years, and he looks very, very old but so much better looking. Like a skinny, clean old guy. Here he is in his "handsome" heyday, complete with so-flattering '70s side part/combover.
