Anna Wintour splits from husband Shelby Bryan after 16 years of marriage
Anna Wintour and her husband Shelby Bryan have split up after a 16 year marriage.
However, it might not come as that much of a surprise, since the relationship has reportedly been on the rocks since 2013.
The pair have rarely been seen tigether in public in the years since, Page Six reports.
The pair started dating in 1999, with their relationship causing its fair share of drama when Bryan, 74, walked out on his wife to be with Wintour, 70.
At the time, Wintour had also just divorced from her psychiatrist husband David Shaffer, with whom she shares two children with.
In 2004 Bryan and Wintour wed in a top-secret ceremony.
It’s been a pretty bad year of Wintour, with the Vogue editor’s former friend André Leon Talley, painting the media mogul in a horrible way in his memoir, The Chiffon Trenches back in May.
Talley, who had worked for Vogue for over 20 years, slammed Wintour in the memoir.
One passage claimed that he was frozen out by her because he was “too old, too overweight, and too uncool.”
Another stated that there was an endless list of staffers who were left a “frayed and tattered heap during her powerful rule.”
He also wrote: “She is immune to anyone other than the powerful and famous people who populate the pages of Vogue.
“She has mercilessly made her best friends people who are the highest in their chosen fields.”
The month following the scathing memoir, Vogue's publisher Condé Nast was accused of widespread racism.

After those claims came to light, Wintour issued a statement in which she had apologised for the mistakes and for letting “hurtful and intolerant behaviour” go unchecked during her reign.
While Wintour’s representative refused to comment on her recent split to Page Six, the publication does claim that Bryan might have gone back to his ex-wife Katherine, whom he left for Wintour over two decades ago.
However, another source claims that isn’t true.
“Katherine and Shelby have kids together[and] are friends. That’s all,” the insider claimed.
In 2013 when Wintour and Bryan’s marriages seemed to take a downfall when it was reported that he owed $1.2 million in back taxes to the IRS.
While the pair were often pictured together at multiple events, that seemed to drop off after the scandal came to light.
In 2007, some light was shed on their marriage in an article with Observer.
Wintour, known for her cold exterior, had allegedly ‘softened’ after meeting Bryan, claims a source in the article.
“She smiles now and has been seen to laugh,” a source told the publication.
Wintour and Bryan share no children together.
Wintour is the mother to son, Charles, 35, and daughter, Bea, 33, from her former marriage to Shaffer.
