Like Barbaric Streizand, Jason Joan Gould can't just simply sing a song using the lyrics to guide his vocal. No, he must interpret and jump octaves and over ornament and shape his vowels to the point of sounding ridiculous. He learned from the worst. They are a vocally talented family. And totally tasteless singers. He was pretty fuckable 10 years ago though. And he's a good ride too.

Listen to his version of Bridge Over Troubled Water R23. It's a complete Barbaric Streizand impersonation! Every inflection, each grace note, all the soaring destruction of the melody and burying the emotional lede of the song through self indulgence are identical to the vocal atrocities his mother used to commit when she made records. It's better when Jason does it somehow, because he sounds more like Josh Groban. Not a bad voice. Those Streizands have some nice resonance.
