Not to particularly defend Furness but it appears the interviewer asked her the inevitable question about "rumours" (not specifically gay rumours) and she used the old standby of blaming the tabloids and their "mean-spirited" stories about celebrities. I live in the West Village and have been cruised by Hugh more than once. He gives a very hard stare up and down, and smiles and turns his head back to look once more.
