The Worst Witch (1998-2001)

Who saw and loved this version of The Worst Witch back in the day? Episodes are up on Youtube. The teachers and staff room shenanigans are worth it, so campy and fun. Especially Kate Duchene as Miss Constance Hardbroom. Oscar nominee Felicity Jones got her start on this show as bad girl Ethel Hallow. Filmed mostly in the UK and partly in Canada (it was a co-production). Who remembers it? DL never discussed it.

There is a Netflix series going on that started in 2018 and entering its 4th Season. Never heard of this earlier one, though. Why do I even know this? Why do I care?

In any case this was Harry Potter before Harry Potter....
