Son of Tim. He was handed a gig at NBC six weeks after his father died, and then decided to take a break in July 2016.
I wondered if he was going to show up on the scene again for this election period, but no sign of him.

Luke is now a homemaker and mother of three (all under 5) living in Whitefish, Montana.

Aw. Bless his heart, R1.

He travels the globe with his mother. You can read all about it on her blog.

Thank you for the link, R3.
Who wouldn’t want to globetrot with septuagenarian mother? Makes perfect sense.

He is around and has an active Twitter account . . .

Have you checked OnlyFans or Chaturbate?

Well, R4, Maureen Orth is his mother, so maybe not a bad traveling companion.

In other words: Luke is a rich kid who doesn't have to work anymore.
You all know he SUCKED as was gifted that job because of his daddy.
Haven't thought about this man in years.

Nancy Pelosi put him in his place when he wondered why she wouldn’t move aside for younger leadership.
AOC would have loved Luke.

Took a break? After his long demanding career?
Next!

You think being woke is easy, R10?

Yeah, I think MSNBC let him go when he never really grew into his role. It always felt awkward watching him, with his “Be Well” signature sign off. Contrast him with Garrrett Haake, who does a much better job.

I had forgotten about him. He is an uppity brat and his father was a typical overrated DC hack. Always talking shit about Dems while allowing Republicans to go wild. The histrionics in the Washington press after Tim russert died were so OTT. Almost as bad as when that nasty old fuck John McCain finally kicked it.

Brian Williams used to give his father this really long intro, with all his titles, including “Chief this and that and moderator of Meet the Press”. I sent Williams an email with the subject in all caps “NOBODY CARES WHO MODERATES MEET THE PRESS”, and wrote that it was like he was introducing the Pope.
The next night, Williams introduced him with a briefer title and embarrassed facial expression. I hadn’t expected them to actually read the email, but clearly they did. It didn’t last too long, though. Probably don’t read all their emails anymore, I think more people use email these days, or tweets, or similar contact means.
Chris Hayes answered an email to me when he started “Up”. I asked his height. He’s 6’. His set made him tower over his guests, but I was really just curious about his dimensions. They don’t publicize that email address for him anymore.

He’s cute and going by what I’ve heard, a nice guy. The book his mother wrote about Andrew Conanan was very good. I think it is titled Vulgar Favors.

He was incompetent and over his head. Nepotism in action. Hopefully, he invested well and we won't have to see him again.

He once asked a Harlem, NY House Rep., Charles Rangel if he would resign at the beginning of a hint of scandal. Rangel was pissed and read him the riot act (“I know you’ve got to make copy, but....”) and Luke was shocked, sheepish, and embarrassed that he didn’t get a boilerplate denial or non-emotional response. It was similar to the interaction he had with Nancy, described, above,
Rangel is still in Congress, btw.

He's still healing from the bruises and broken bones he got from falling upward.......

[quote] but I was really just curious about his dimensions.
did Chris Hayes tell you his dick size?
by Anonymous | reply 19 | September 12, 2020 5:36 AM |
I didn’t ask, r19. He has groupies, so he’s not naive.
