Angie had to parade the kids out at Nobu because she can't let Brad get all the attention. Notice that Shiloh has let her former boy haircut grow out and she's not dressed in manly clothes. Okay it's a hoody but the kid's usually in a suit and tie. She the tallest girl in the pic. Could Angie be losing the fight to be the cool mom of a trans kid?
Is Shiloh Jolie-Pitt becoming more feminine?

In March Jolie wrote an article in Time and spoke about how Zahara and Shiloh both had minor surgeries and she referred to them as the 'girls' and valuing the health and strength of girls. So I am guessing Shiloh now considers herself a girl or else Jolie wouldn't use that language.

There was a tabloid rumor that Shiloh spent most of the summer with Brad and his parents / side of the family. No idea if it is true but it might explain external influences that led to her hair growing out.
I did see on twitter people expressing disappointment if she chooses to be a girl! That she was an LGBT teen icon and they don't want to lose her.

I know hating on Angie is popular, and not entirely undeserved, but I've never gotten the sense she's one of those parents trying to push their kids to transition, which is surprising since her mental health issues practically scream out for that kind of attention. She seems to have handled Shiloh's identity experimentation in the best way possible, allowing her to wear whatever she wants and try out new names that sound good to her, but not taking her to a doctor or demanding that complete strangers validate her daughter's experimentation. If only every parent of a "gender diverse" child behaved similarly.

Her sister hangs out with Millie Bobby Brown and they're both beautiful young girls. I think she's in the phase now where she is starting to think about boys and appearance (kinda late though with 14) and it must be weird to hang out with her sister and her famous friends while she looks like a weirdo with short hair and boy clothes. My niece was also a tomboy and that all changed with puberty. She suddenly let her hair grow and wore more feminine clothes. Not all girls are girly girls. I always thought it was wrong to speculate about her sexuality at this young age. For a lot of children it is just a phase and everything changes once they hit puberty.

For once, a celebrity’s kid who actually looks photogenic and pretty enough to be a model. She’s tall too and in photos she has an energy that’s very photogenic and draws the camera lens to her. Those expressive, wide-set eyes and full lips don’t hurt either. She has more model potential than Kaia, Cindy’s daughter, who always photographs with dead eyes.

Shiloh is an absolutely gorgeous kid, as are all the rest of them.
Angie- wear a fucking bra, for chrissakes! Jesus! Totally understandable when you’re home with just the kids but it looks tacky AF in public. Also, will you please eat something? You’re one of the most beautiful women alive, and you’d look so much better with an extra 20 lbs on you.

When Angelina and Brad announced their separation, it was as if a spell had been broken. I had totally bought into her bullshit from the mid-2000s to the mid-2010s. Ok, ok, part of my appreciation for her was based on the fact that she was cast as Jennifer Aniston's archnemesis. Her affair with Brad came at a time where Jennifer was being force fed to the public as America's sweetheart. And over the course of several years, Angelina effectively quieted any vitriol she had earned as "the other woman" by leaning in on social causes and doing some pretty good films.
However, as soon as the separation was announced, I remembered how crazy she used to be. I've also started viewing her actions as being performative and part of an elaborate PR campaign.

Not sure why AJ is hanging on to those out-sized breast implants. She would look so much better and more high-fashion with smaller breasts. Like Michelle Pfeiffer in Scarface.
IMO, when AJ was coming of age, the grapefruit-sized chests were necessary to be sexy. (Now, it's ass implants.) She should move on from that aesthetic.

She's not hanging onto old breast implants. There are new. She had a double mastectomy a few years ago. These boobs are new

R42, I see your point. That was a few years ago, though. She had a chance to downsize after the mastectomy and, instead, re-upped with torpedoes again.

I hate to mention them, but the women of Friends apparently all got teardrop shaped implants, which look less out of date and more natural.
Jolie has broad shoulders and a thin straight frame with not much of a waist, even without her lack of body fat. I guess the bowling balls add some femininity.

Agreed. Angie may be a nutbag, but I never got the impression that she and/or Brad wanted a trans kid and were pushing that on Shiloh. It always seemed from their limited commentary on Shiloh that they were just letting her dress and wear her hair as she pleased and not leaping to any conclusions about her gender and sexuality. I actually think they may be decent role models for raising a gender non-conforming kid.

From the moment Shiloh was born, nutty AJ insisted that she be dressed in all boys clothes. Not unisex. Boys clothes. That's a very tiny baby. Who dresses an infant that young in jeans?
Look at that picture that R28 linked to. AJ giving Brad the stink eye as he gazes adoringly at his first child, a beautiful little girl. The green eyed monster rears its head.
Jealousy.

R55, that’s not the stink eye from AJ to Brad. It’s a weird photo in that they should both be looking at the baby. AJ, IMO, always has to make a big deal about her connection to whatever man she’s with. Kissing her brother, wearing a vial of other husband’s blood, staring into Brad’s eyes, etc.

There’s a couple of recent pictures of Shiloh in a hoodie in this thread. One post is linked to a picture of her wearing a white hoodie in LA. In August. It’s probably a hundred degrees there every day, and everyone else in the pictures is wearing a very lightweight top. And no sleeves.
So is she cutting? Imagine yourself wearing a hoodie in hundred degree heat. Why? I don’t think she’s okay.

by Anonymous | reply 64 | August 31, 2020 7:38 PM |
R64, had a friend who had it done. Not the best procedure if you want to have a kid in the future- they basically have to cut out your nipples and reposition them higher after removing all the tissue below and sewing the bottom of your breast together. You'll always have that vertical scar from the bottle off the nipple to the underside of your breast.
by Anonymous | reply 65 | August 31, 2020 7:43 PM |
The "Shiloh is gorgeous" troll has arrived. They post that nonsense on every Brad and/or Angie thread
This is not gorgeous
by Anonymous | reply 66 | August 31, 2020 8:31 PM |
There’s a new way of doing it, R65.
Doctors can excise the nipple, then they draw a huge circle around where the nipple was, and the excise that portion of skin. Then, they place the nipple back in the middle of the excised area, and they stitching to the edge of the skin left on the breast, and they draw the skin around the nipple, right up to where the new nipple placement is.
It’s called the drawstring stitch.
I know this because I want a breast reduction and have researched the hell out of it. No anchor stitch, and within a few months, all scarring is gone.
BTW, they have these new healing adhesives that doctors place on the “anchor stitch”, that makes the anchor stitch also disappear within 6 months to a year. If you have to have the drawstring stitching because your boobs are to saggy, they give you these to wear, plus they also give you oxygen chamber therapy for as long as you need it to assist in rapid healing.
Last I checked, only a few doctors did the drawstring stitch in Miami and Los Angeles. Surely by now, there are more. The earlier one does it the better, but if you have good skin elasticity, it can work at any age.
Doctors usually tell women to wait until they’re done with family planning, in order to do it. It looks totally natural and no one can tell you’ve had a breast reduction or boob lift.
The only thing that pisses me off about it is that doctors will charge you 5K to 10K if you do it with implants, however, they will charge you 7K to 12K if you do it without implants. I don’t understand the logic behind that pricing structure.
Whatever...🤷🏽♀️

“If you have to have the *ANCHOR* stitching because your boobs are too saggy, they give you these healing adhesives to wear, plus they also give you oxygen chamber therapy for as long as you need it to assist in rapid healing.”

No R58 is right. I remember when they were all over practically every day in the news with the kids parading about and she wore pretty dresses and coats. That was for a number of years. Simple enough to google.
Why is anyone freaked out over a baby wearing jeans? Lots of babies wear baby jeans and funny t-shirts. That's gender neutral. Only a frau expects a baby with no hair to be wearing those godawful hair bands and bows on an infant's misshapen bald head. And in PINK.

Shiloh was never passed off as trans. They always referred to her as a daughter. It’s one of the few things her parents did right. She went through a phase and seemingly outgrew it as most kids do.
by Anonymous | reply 70 | August 31, 2020 9:28 PM |
She wore dresses and had long hair when she was a baby - it was just after her 3rd birthday that her hair was cut and she started to only be in boys clothes. Both parents have said she watched Peter Pan and wanted to be a boy after watching that movie and wanted to be called John from the movie.
by Anonymous | reply 71 | August 31, 2020 9:30 PM |
R67, I hope you get to have your surgery. I'm guessing the reduction w/no implants is more expensive because it probably takes more skill from the surgeon. There's probably more to it, but stuffing in an implant can maybe camouflage a lot of the small errors made (wow, your tits look nice and big now).

She was never trans. Jolie and Pitt have always referred to her as a girl and as their daughter. If she was trans, Jolie would be all over that. They also said she liked the name John when she was a preschooler - no idea if she wanted to be called that in recent years. She is 'gender non=conforming'.

I'm not the Shiloh is gorgeous troll, but she did get the best features of both of her parents--the bone structure is exquisite.
As for the hoody--it's a great way to block paparazzi photographs. This kid is photographed all the time. I doubt she loves it.
She's also a girl who had two older brothers--her wanting to dress like them/identify with them is not that surprising. She could be a baby dyke or an old-fashioned tomboy. The need people have to make her trans is a little disturbing. Focus on Stephen Beatty.

AJ was actually neglected as a baby / young child. In Andrew Morton's book (IIRC), he says that AJ looked too much like her dad and her mom couldn't handle looking at AJ.
AJ probably wants her children to be "free spirits" and is probably too lazy / doesn't know how to set them (kids) up to operate in the real world.

R80, Looks like it's a version of Wikipedia method of handling information--some nutjob volunteer claimed the page on Shiloh Jolie-Pitt and edited it to their liking. Basically, it's wrong--Shiloh Jolie-Pitt's legal name is Shiloh Nouel Jolie-Pitt. If you look on Angelina Jolie's wikipedia page you'll find that Shiloh is called Shiloh and identified as female.
by Anonymous | reply 81 | September 1, 2020 10:33 AM |
There’s zero evidence to prove Shiloh is transitioning or considering it.
I went through a tomboy stage in junior high. I was just starting to get curves and my boobs were “adult” like, by 8th grade. It was really annoying because teenaged boys were very focused on this with the girls who were developing more quickly than others.
I started to wear sweatpants and huge t-shirts. It was way easier than hearing sexual harassment from my peers, and having other girls giving me shit.
I’m glad it happened, looking back, now. It made me more of a non conformist, and it allowed me to develop what I believe to be a healthy value system. How? I wore zero makeup and didn’t give a shit about what I wore, hence I didn’t assign high value to sexuality and feminine conformity. I also befriended all the weirdos and misfits who weren’t “preppy” in appearance, and many were BRILLIANT kids, who were way more interesting than my usual and customary group of friends who wore L.L. Bean & Top-Siders.
When I got older, I got back into makeup and dressing girly. I have a closet filled with tons of really nice shit for women, and really DGAF, because I value myself beyond what I wear, and I tend to not judge others, based on outsides vs. insides.
P.S. I went to prom with a Mohawk, a gorgeous, backless, black gown, and a string of pearls worn down my bare back. It was AWESOME, especially since I had gone to so many dances as a prim and proper young lady. LOL! Best school dance of my life, that night. It was so fun to dance freely, without running to the bathroom every 10 minutes to check on my hair!

Brad and Angie never referred to Shiloh as anything but their daughter and never called her by any other name. But they, especially Angie, absolutely stoked the Shiloh is trans press in their nonstop (til the divorce) campaign to present themselves as the best parents with the most special children ever. When you use your children for press, you can't simply shut down the speculation running rampant about Shiloh's dress and presentation with "she's a child, and it's none of your fucking business." So instead we got stories with carefully coded language about how they were supporting her choices, and Angie even went so far in an interview to claim she just had to cut Shiloh's hair short because the poor child was *sobbing* over having long hair. Because it can't possibly be a run of the mill child hates brushing her hair kind of story, it has to be a special snowflake of a child is going through some deep things and of course Angie being the bestest most sensitive and woke mom ever is going to support her choices kind of story.
Reminds me of the blonde virgin pop star brigade in the early 2000s. Britney and the rest SHOULD HAVE been telling those skeeves asking about their virginity "none of your business, pervert." But their handlers had an agenda, so instead we got all kinds of embarrassing lies and nonsense about waiting till marriage for Jesus.
by Anonymous | reply 84 | September 1, 2020 5:33 PM |
R84, No question AJ has played the PR game, but Shiloh's a young teen who hasn't, so the calling-John-Shiloh-is-deadnaming brigade needs to go find some other target. Though I suppose part of the issue is that Shiloh is good looking and the trans brigade likes the idea of an FtM looking like Brad Pitt instead of Chaz Bono or Stephen Beatty, neither of whom got the movie star looks genes and look, at best, like tubby short guys.
I've sometimes wondered, though if the tomboy Shiloh thing is about not upstaging her mother. By the same token, I wonder if the longer hair is being encouraged because it makes her look a little less like Brad Pitt's younger doppleganger.
Anyway, I hope there's money set aside for adult therapy for all six of them.

Jeez, I’m so fucking grateful I was born before all of this ridiculous IG and Tik-Tok bullshit. And I’m especially grateful that I look for kindness and sincerity when I look at people, especially kids.

Oh R97, okay, let's spell out for you--high, prominent cheekbones, well-spaced, bright blue eyes, thick hair that can easily go blonde if need be, full mouth, good nose, even features, good skin, slender, well-proportioned build.
Pretty much your genetic jackpot and the kind of face a camera loves--and this is apparent even with the boy haircut, early teen ugly duckling stage and the lack of make-up. By far, the most naturally striking of the gang.

I found a Shiloh Jolie-Pitt fanpage on Instagram and if you comment something like "she looks pretty here," there will be a reply saying "you mean HE" and similar things ("Shiloh? Don't you mean John?," "*son," etc.)
Many people want her to be transgender so badly. If she would show up somewhere with long hair and wearing makeup and a pretty dress they would definitely be greatly disappointed and there would most likely be a social media backlash from some of the SJW crowd. So maybe she knows she is considered an LGBT icon for the youth and is afraid to dress in a more feminine way because she feels like she'd be letting people down in some way and that it would result in a lot of unwanted attention once the public noticed.

Well, the longer hair thing is already happening, though I wouldn't be surprised if she cut it again, but, at this point, Shiloh isn't trans and isn't asking to be called John. Even if Shiloh were trans, Shiloh's not an inherently feminine name.
Fans can be heinous.

[quote] okay, let's spell out for you--high, prominent cheekbones, well-spaced, bright blue eyes, thick hair that can easily go blonde if need be, full mouth, good nose, even features, good skin, slender, well-proportioned build.
I can spell it out for you, she's ugly. We all can see her face. Maybe you are blind.
You are the "shiloh pitt is gorgeous" troll
by Anonymous | reply 93 | September 4, 2020 2:22 AM |
She's not exquisite or ugly. She's an average looking kid. She might blossom into a beauty after puberty, but I have a feeling she'll never embrace any kind of femininity.
by Anonymous | reply 94 | September 4, 2020 3:18 AM |
Shiloh was gorgeous as a toddler. Now? Not so much. Just look at her legs, hair and face. If she wasn't the offspring of famous parents, no one would even give her the time of the day. Same goes for the twins. All average looking kids right now. Maybe we should talk "beauty" again in a couple of years when they're in their late teens/early twenties.
But honestly, compare these kids to Millie Bobbie Brown for example. She also had short hair for Stranger Things and was skinny, but you could tell from the beginning that kid had "it" and she is a gorgeous young lady now at 16/17 and immensely popular.

R95 You lost me at Millie Bobbie Brown -- gorgeous.
by Anonymous | reply 96 | September 4, 2020 6:19 AM |
R93, Nope, not the Shiloh is beautiful troll, but it sounds like you are the Shiloh is ugly troll. I gave you reasons why her features are good and you just kind of stamped your feet. Whatever.
by Anonymous | reply 97 | September 4, 2020 7:01 AM |
Sorry, R95, that Millie Bobby Brown is as basic as you can get. There is nothing gorgeous about her at all. Not denying they can do a lot with make-up and photography so she looks attractive, but some beauty she ain't.
by Anonymous | reply 98 | September 6, 2020 11:17 PM |
Yeah, whatever career Millie Bobbie Brown will have won't be based on her looks. She's got some ability and her features can handle a fair amount of make-up, which gives her some versatility, but she's not the one I would have picked to illustrate that Shiloh's ordinary looking.

Millie Bobbie Brown looks exactly like a teenage Carrie Fisher. She'll grow up to be attractive but not a bombshell. The only reason all those boys jerked off to Leia was that damned gold bikini.

Millie Bobbie Brown is like Margo Robbie and Maggie Gyllenhaal- they were born with the face of a 40 year old woman. `In Maggie's case, it's a 40 year old woman from the 30's.

Does gorgeous always means "hot as fuck" or "great beauty"? I just meant she's a cute kid and not as bland as Shiloh. You guys can't deny that MBB is quite charismatic and has "it" aka people find her interesting and enjoy to watch her on screen.

[quote]Does gorgeous always means "hot as fuck" or "great beauty"?
Yes, it does.
Just like ugly keep its definition, so does gorgeous.

R102 isn't a native English speaker, FWIW. But, anyway, "Gorgeous" means extremely beautiful--and that's not Millie Bobbie Brown. She's a cute kid with some talent--see where it goes. Hollywood is very hard on young actors. Saoirse Ronan's the exception, not the norm.
I mean, when was the last time anyone talked about Chloe Moretz? She was trying very hard a few years back to segue from kid roles to young adult, but by 2018, the two film roles she had were both voice jobs. She's working, but she's definitely nowhere near A list.

The MBB troll has twisted a conversation that was strictly about Shiloh's looks into a comparison with Millie Bobby Brown......a homely, but semi-talented actress. Apples to oranges. As far as I know Shiloh isn't a pursuing an acting career, so why the comparison?
As R90 stated, Shi has all the raw material of a classic beauty, and it was evident from the time she was a toddler. She is at an awkward teen stage right now, but if she allows herself to embrace her femininity in a few years....wow.
The other five kids range from down right ugly to average at best.

He's not talked about much, but I think Knox has some potential--Shiloh got Brad's looks, but Knox got a good chunk of the Jolie-Voight genes.
Vivienne will probably look fine, but it will involve make-up and access to Hollywood's beauty magicians. She didn't get the movie-star features.
Zaharah's okay looking--I've known some stunning women from East Africa, but Zahara, so far, doesn't seem to have gotten that sort of look.
Maddox and Pax are nondescript--two short SE Asian guys that look like millions of other SE Asian guys, but that's fine. Most of us aren't stand-outs.

Viv looks like Ang’s ex Johnny Lee Miller.
by Anonymous | reply 107 | September 8, 2020 9:44 AM |
She makes an average looking boy, but she might be pretty as a girl. We'll never know until we see her look like one.

I agree that Knox will be a knock out. I think he actually did get the best of the Voight-Pitt genes, and I think he probably looks more like the Pitt family, than we know, because we really don’t know what they look like save for Brad’s parents.
Angelina and Brad both looked like average teenagers. Angelina obviously had surgery to enhance her looks, and while she had what appears to be more aggressive surgery on her face, Brad also had some surgery on his face.
Genes do not ever resemble or duplicate the finished product. There’s nothing wrong with plastic surgery, but kids resulting from a marriage between two gorgeous celebrities aren’t going to look like their perfect looking parents. They look like their pre-surgically enhanced parents.
IMHO, Angelina was more interesting and unique pre-surgery. Her original face and body formed a better presentation for the screen, rather than her post surgical look, which presented a perfect face for print media, yet kinda erased that “it” factor she had for film.
It’s weird, because the more perfect her face became, the less of an enigma she became when in front of the camera and on the big screen.
Most people who have plastic surgery on their face don’t need it, despite what they are led to believe via print media. Print media and the tech developed to manipulate it, don’t translate the same way the human eye does, when observing a person as a dynamic, 3 dimension, animated being. An overwhelming characteristic that makes one attractive is their personality and how that is manifested upon their face. A perfect face that is constantly botoxed and filled, diminish this, and the human eye notices the absence of it, and whether subconsciously or consciously, factors that loss, as something that is unnatural and less attractive, which is surely not a consideration when getting a nose job or Botox to the point of rendering a muscle frozen.
That’s why I believe that unless you’re born with a deformity that can be surgically corrected, it’s best to leave the face alone and this includes over-botoxing and over filling. Contrary to popular belief, it alters natural beauty in a very unnatural way, and it wipes of the unique expressions you express naturally, via your face, due to your unique personality. That’s not appealing nor is it attractive, regardless of how many times were told that aging naturally is a big no-no, or that we look better with huge lips, or a tiny nose, when we weren’t actually born with them.
If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it. Most people are not ugly or even hideous. And facial expressions are fucking priceless and what makes human interaction so worth pursuing, you know?

R109, Marilyn was a pretty but forgettable girl before her nose job, and after her surgery, she became the most photogenic woman on the planet.

Great point, R110, and I agree!

Knox looks more like Angelina/John the most and inherited Voight’s cleft chin.
by Anonymous | reply 112 | September 9, 2020 10:12 PM |
I hope Knox doesn't end up looking like James Haven, Angie's brother. He's a weird-looking dude.
by Anonymous | reply 113 | September 9, 2020 11:25 PM |
I’ve seen pics of James when he was a kid and Knox does look like him.
