R16, you may want to give “Succession” another chance. It took me 5 episodes to really like it. You are correct in noting every character is revolting. But it gets interesting as they try to manipulate each other. The last episode of season two is just great.

Mac is one of the few childstars who has fully earned the right to his lifelong crazy. His parents were slavedrivers, he had the crushing pressure of multiple blockbuster movies resting on his tiny skinny shoulders, he was feeding an entire large family when he should have been in school, and he was probably the favourite victim for the posterboy of predatory evil. Yet for all that, he isn’t dangling babies off buildings or helping an international traffic king cabaL.

It’s a miracle he’s as well-adjusted as he is. He’s sometimes lucid, still living in relatively good health, and to the best of our knowledge has never killed or abused anyone himself. He is doing better than anyone could have hoped.
