So I've been having recurring dreams lately... where I am a pretty lady. In real life, I am neither.
I'm always in some lavish historical setting, beautifully dressed, as if starring in a movie. While I like historical movies, I have never worn women's clothes nor secretly longed to be a woman. I have no strong feelings on anyone selecting their gender identity.
What's it all about, DL? Is it... just me?

Other people can't really analyze your dreams for you... because the symbolism in the dream is unique to you.
Some gays admire pretty ladies, some despise them. It depends what your own reaction is.
I would think the situation in the dream is what's revealing, tho.

I agree with R3 - Beautiful illustration OP - almost Beardsley-like.
Once in my life I dreamed that I was a woman - a beautiful, tall, stately black woman. I have no idea in the world what prompted the dream. I have never wanted to be a woman, but in the dream, I felt good about myself. I seemed to realize that this was a temporary state, but a positive one.

I am a white male over 40 in the Northeast.
In recent dreams I have been an Asian princess/empress and a South American aristocrat, but I'm usually a young-ish pretty white lady, if that means anything.

We should have a dream thread in general. No offense to your gender identity problems OP, but I’ve been having some fucked up dreams. Not nightmares per say, although there’s been a few. Usually they are just weird, long dreams...sometimes I even hear music.
