The Mole People

I am watching Season 2 of "Hanna" and my enjoyment is completely disrupted by a f-ing MOLE right in the middle of one actress' FACE!

Do you think it grew after the performer was already cast? Why wasn't it removed?? By force if necessary!

I am so upset by this. Times are tough enough right now without having Mole People shoved down our throats. It's not the little one's fault she was born that way but it's like she's not even trying to hide it and appear normal. And for that, I blame her.

We don’t have a problem with it. Lighten up.

Well, it can be dangerous to remove some moles. But, if offends your aesthetic sense, I’m sure she’d risk it for you, OP.

by Anonymousreply 2August 6, 2020 2:45 AM

She should wear a headband, a beret or even a tiara to hide that unsightly MOLE!

by Anonymousreply 3August 6, 2020 2:47 AM

OP is TRIGGERED!

Are g-damn BANGS too much to ask for? They're free, for god's sake. She can parade around her own room being "out and proud" about her deformity, but on TV or when out in public, [italic] cover up!

Heard of Marilyn Monroe?

by Anonymousreply 6August 6, 2020 2:52 AM

Fuck off OP.

^^ MM lived in a time when safe surgery wasn't available. But this little minx has access to blasts of liquid nitrogen to the face, and still she refuses.

I am telling you, when she gets off TV and into the real world, she'll learn all too quickly how we feel about, and deal with, Mole People.

by Anonymousreply 8August 6, 2020 3:00 AM

I think when you get a mole removed it leaves a hole. A mole is better than a hole. But neither should have hair.

by Anonymousreply 9August 6, 2020 3:01 AM

I think dates should be upfront about moles they house that aren't visible at first. The mole person should tell prospective partners about their problem and what they're doing about it. Ideally this should be done both at the rendez vous spot (cafe, bar, whathaveyou), and then later before the unveiling.

Most have been subjected to Mole Panic already and know the proper protocol, but some still take risks.

by Anonymousreply 10August 6, 2020 3:12 AM

I don't mind small, flat moles. but if it looks like someone threw brown m&ms at your face you need to switch to radio

by Anonymousreply 11August 6, 2020 3:16 AM

I had a mole between my eyes, it grew larger in my 20s and 30s, finally went to my dermatologist and he removed it. There’s a small flesh colored indentation where it used to be, the laser treatments were like $400 to flatten it and it didn’t seem worth it so I just left it as is. It’s not that noticeable.

Hole is BETTER than mole, believe me.

by Anonymousreply 12August 6, 2020 3:28 AM

Ha. Talk to Sam Heughan.

You did the right thing. Thank you for your service.

"Hanna" update: SPOILER: The out mole person/actress has revealed herself to be a villain on the show (shocker). AND she has a second mole by her eye. These people are allowed one mole, and they take a dozen. [italic]When does it end??

Doesn't that comedian Tiffany Haddish have an enormous puffy mole? I can't watch her.

by Anonymousreply 15August 6, 2020 4:31 AM

OP you sound like my mum. She is always pointing out when someone on TV has a face mole.

So I turned around and said she must really be bothered then by the one on my nose. In saying that I really should get it removed.

by Anonymousreply 16August 6, 2020 4:32 AM

R15, Yes! They should paint a little face on it and give it a supporting credit!

by Anonymousreply 17August 6, 2020 4:34 AM

It has all been allowed to run rampant for far, far too long. There was a time the mole people actors tried to change their ways, fit in, and assimilate. Now it's all about them them THEM.

It makes me want to heave. Plus it is career suicide. How can they ever play a normal person?

I am just seething about this.

Who does she think she is? Anne Francis?

The current census needs to address how many of them are currently among us. And maybe the covid vacines can be expanded to keep them from passing the condition on to their devil spawn.

R29, you found a good one. Celebrities should take note.

by Anonymousreply 31August 28, 2020 1:49 AM

Iglesias must have felt a huge amount of pressure to remove that ghastly mole because the media made so much of it. Howard Stern even did a parody song.called “Got a Mole” sung for the tune of Bailamos. I’m glad he had it removed though, it was ugly.

by Anonymousreply 32August 28, 2020 5:52 AM

I remember when Freddie Prinze Jr. hosted SNL, he play Enrique and had a giant mole on his face.

by Anonymousreply 33August 28, 2020 2:46 PM

R9, maybe in the 1960s. Mole removal has become more sophisticated since then. I had one burned off and you can tell anything was ever there. I had another shaved off. The key also is to have a good dermatologist.
