Andrew Parker-Bowles, Camilla's first husband
He was considered the catch of catches when Camilla married him in 1973. She had fallen in love with him at her debutante ball in 1965, and they dated off and on between then and 1973l but she wanted him so much that her father and brother supposedly forced his hand into marriage by printing an engagement announcement in the papers to force his hand.
He had affairs while they were married with many of her friends. He was considered such an attractive and glamorous cad that Jilly Cooper admitted she based her superstud character Rupert Campbell-Black from her "Rutshire Chronicles" (her incredibly British romance novels about the horsey set) on him.

Already by their marriage his looks were fading.

A few years into their marriage, by the time they had two children in elementary school, he had really declined--his mouth began to look like Grmupy Cat's:

Damn that’s tragic. At least her and Charles have each other now. It really did seem like true love between them.

And now he looks like this--here with his former lover Princess Anne (he is godfather to her daughter Zara).
Looks fade, children!

Was the top photo from 1965? They both look attractive in that photo. Camilla actually looks pretty!
They both quite bad in their 1973 wedding pic. British people sure don't age well.

The man in OP's photo is Rupert Hambro, of the Hambro banking family. Camilla did date him.
Here's Rupert with his blonde wife at some event.

Rupert has been married to the same woman since 1970. Robin Boyer-Hambro, she's an American-born philanthropist and a former London Editor of American Vogue. Guess she has her own money. His family was originally from Denmark.
Seeing how awful Camilla turned out looking, he dodged a bullet!

APB remarried, but his second wife passed away some time ago. I’m surprised he’s still single. He seemed like the kind of man who needed to have a wife (if only to cheat on).

Camilla’s brother Mark Shand was a well known hottie himself. Supposedly he had a beautiful body and women were crazy about him.

Andrew Parker Bowles is said to be incredibly dishy and sexy. Not the best looking man as he’s aged, he’s retained an allure that overrides his physical attractiveness. Look up Lucien Freud’s classic portrait called “The Brigadier” and you’ll see APB at his strongest and steeliest. He’s quite a guy.

It is weird because when Andrew & Camilla were together on weekends (when they took a break from their outside affairs) they would be sitting at their kitchen table eating Sunday Brunch, inviting friends over
And on that kitchen table, all the Sunday newspaper, with Charles & Camilla splashed all over the front pages.
Of course Andrew, Camilla and their friends all being British never said a word about those Charles & Camilla headlines starring them back in the face, They all acted like they didn't even notice the headlines.

Even ugly families generally crank out one (modest) exception who has the longest shot at keeping the looks... look at the Spencers.... Diana got all the looks in her immediate family and presumably would have held them into old age, to some extent, given her mother's relative attractiveness.

I wonder why huge noses on women are forgiven by the Brits. Was there just a lot of them in certain bloodlines, and since they couldn’t do anything about it way-back-when, they threw up their hands and simply deemed it “aristocratic”?
A big nose like Diana’s is a masculine feature. It’s hard to grasp how that meshes with the whole “English Rose” facade.

Being English is depressing. I went to a mostly english school (no third world, jews, Pollack's,etc) And was a little bit above average looking. When I went out into the world , encountered people with perfect teeth, fingers etc.. People whose ancestors faced recent starvation etc have much better genes. All the people with bad teeth don't make it through periods of high competition . The royal family are actually pretty good looking for English people.
