THAT'S "great hair?" Jesus, he looks like a bloody poufter. It looks like he was inspired by Donald Trump's mother's horrible 'do.

Burt would have left no stone unturned to mock, fight, criticize Trump. He was a fearless, staunch liberal and a friend of gays.
You have no idea what you're talking about R1.

Veronica Lake. Her hair was her trademark, that long mane of blonde hair falling over one eye. It was gorgeous.

Rita Hayworth (despite the torture of the electrolysis hairline and the red dye)

I didn't say he WAS a bloody poufter who looks like he was inspired by Donald Trump's mother's horrible 'do, I said he LOOKS a bloody poufter who looks like he was inspired by Donald Trump's mother's horrible 'do .
And he really does, too.

Jane Fonda always had a pretty amazing head of hair--resilient, considering some of the crappy looks forced upon it.

R28, Redford's current wig-wearing situation casts doubt on whether it was ever his real hair.

"Brooke Shields. Surprised she never had her own brand of hair products."
She did commercials for some hair product line. I can't remember what it was. But in the commercials her hair looked very fake and overdone, all pouffy and gleaming. My guess is that it took hours to get it to look that way for the camera. Her UNdone hair was very average.

Redford and his wigs/hairpieces et al. have been discussed previously on DL.
It must have been difficult being known for your hair and then losing it fairly early on in your career. Redford was a natural redhead and started bleaching his hair bright blonde from the 60s on (that can't have helped matters). Looks like he started wearing a hairpiece at some point in the 70s. By the time he won Best Director in 1981, he's either got a full-on wig or a toupee.
