Legally, he’s got a case. It’s a double standard and the SC signed off on the case recently.

He’s fug now but used to be sort of hot back in his hockey playing days. Anyway joking about having a threesome with a fellow sportscaster is grounds for dismissal even if he were gay.

It's so hard to be a straight, white, male celebrity in America...

Apparently one of his arguments is that what he said was no worse than what Miss Johnny Weir said about male skaters.
He's a douche but he may have a point.

Ah yes, he was "joking" about being open to a threesome with the legitimately gorgeous Patrick Sharp.
I think he should prevail. Give him millions.
Heteroflexibility should be encouraged.

Damn, I would eat Patrick Sharp's hole for hours and swallow every drop of his cum.

The distinction (with a pretty big difference) is that Roenick said sex stuff about NBC colleagues on air.
Johnny Weir didn't say, "Fuck yeah, I wanna spread it for Bob Costas while Tara watches," he made some remarks about male figure skaters. Not a great look, but it's not what could be interpreted as in-house sexual harassment.
I think Roenick can just settle his frustrations out of court...

He wants Sharp to breed his hole.

I bet 90% of people who work with him are straight. What a dumbass

Dammit, the ONE redeeming feature this jackass had was lack of homophobia. He was game to make out with Mark Recchi when the Kiss Cam zeroed in on them as a joke once!

I’d say gender discrimination for sure, because there is NO way a woman who said the same thing would get fired.
