My favorite song by Linda may still be her first big hit, with the Stone Poneys - "Different Drum". Her voice is amazing and the song is great - and it was written by Michael Nesmith of The Monkees.

R30 he was a very talented musician /songwriter. I think Andrew Gold (Thank you for Being a Friend) wrote a lot of her songs, too.

Back when Rachel Ray was just a cute chubby girl (circa 2003), she looked like she could have been related to Linda.

She could sing a Jimmy Webb song like no other (apologies to Glen Campbell and Art Garfunkel). Wish they had collaborated on an entire album!
