Inspired by the most attractive desert thread.
For me, it's millefeuille (preferably without a fruit filling). I love it so much that I've probably tried it from every bakery and restaurant worthy of a try in my city.

Triple chocolate terrine, which is something I make quite often when we have people over for dinner.
I also get asked to make my duet of rosewater and orange panna cotta with pistachio crumble.

Sperhoeven Krispies. You hold your nose with one hand and you pop a krispy in your mouth in the other: tastes like cheesecake, fresh strawberries and chocolate ice cream.

Whatever happened to him?
For awhile he had Tout Sweet, a patisserie in Macy's Stockton Street store but it's no longer there.

r22 Is that a variation of ABC or ice kacang?

I wish they would bring back Just Desserts. I loved that and the Zumbo show on Netflix.

Since we have no idea what those look like, how can they be the most attractive?

Wow, that's amazing, R26. Habe you tried it, how does it taste?

Not r26, but I hear it basically tastes like water. It’s mostly unflavored, clear gelatin. But it’s stunning to look at.

For fuck's sake, Bruce, why would you slap his croquembouche?

I just saw the Opera Cake at R37 and am retiring from the competition.
However, for a simpler but very delightful-looking homemade cake, I still submit for your consideration: Battenburg Cake

Sakura jelly. A lot of the preparations look like a muddle or something a blue woman would try to serve to James Kirk.
But from a cone mold, a hint of flower peeking through, it is most beautiful.

While the chocolate-glazed croquembouche upthread certainly looks as delicious as can be, I prefer the plain lines of the classic version pictured here. It was the first thing that came to mind.
