A Hell’s Kitchen native wants Rep. Jerry Nadler’s congressional seat
Jonathan Herzog, a self-described civil rights organizer who says he was “born and raised...on the border of Hell’s Kitchen and the Upper West Side,” is challenging longtime Congressman Jerry Nadler in the Democratic primary for New York’s 10th congressional district.
What do we think, DL?

An interview with him, and the source of that headshot:

Well, he's one hundred years younger than Nadler.

[quote] is he gay?
If that headshot is any indication, I'd say it's a pretty good chance.

It's NY, if he gets Twitter to support him, he has an excellent chance. Similar to how AOC won her seat by starting a movement online. I don't live there, so I don't have a dog in this fight.
Albeit, AOC is conventionally more attractive, and that never hurts either.

An Andrew Yang disciple. Quadratic funding? Those who give money have a larger say in public spending? Yuck.
Don't abandon an ally, guys.

He has nice straight teeth that don’t look like Chicklets. On a more substantive note, he doesn’t have that much to offer to offset Nadler’s seniority and the power that comes with it.

Can anyone briefly explain what quadratic funding is? The interview had a link to a paper outlining it, but I didn’t have the patience.

He hit me in the head with a fondue pot.

R9, these idiots who vote on slogans and hotness aren't smart enough to realize you don't give up the levels of power that Nadler has for the new shiny object. Nadler certainly hasn't done anything to get primaried. I hate this kind of crap.

It's way past time for the younger generations to step up and into political office. I don't give a fuck if they have previous experience in government or not. That's a bullshit "must have an acceptable pedigree" type of demand, and it's completely antiquated. We have a bunch of fossils running the country on both the Dem and GOP sides and it shows. Out with the old, in with the new.

One hundred pounds lighter, too.

I don't think we should mess with Jerry Nadler. This new guy looks too tall to represent the Lollipop Guild.

The old guard needs to go.

"Border of Hell's Kitchen" sounds suspiciously like he grew up in the area around Lincoln Center or in one of the very posh buildings on West 57th Street like the Parc Vendome
