I found it really interesting when Lady C said that the Dianna biography was supposed to be an authorized biography that they started working on for charity. Some posters have already outlined what is in the book. I am up to the part where after they had just got married.

To add to other posts; there were reservations about actress' suitability to royal life - apparently, Philip said to Harry "One steps out with actresses, they do not marry them" but they hoped it would work out and the Queen thought Meghan would be a good thing for the family and helped in relations with the commonwealth. They liked her, particularly Charles, who gave her the nickname 'Tungsten'. Although Lady C does reveal a lot of stuff she does praise both H & M on their accomplishments, for example the military and the charitable things Harry has done. In fact, she says Thomas doted on Meghan and perhaps spoiled her too much, the rules were more relaxed in his home.

I finished Lady CC's Book yesterday (it was due back to the library) and thought she did a good job.

It was not an attack or a love letter to either of the Sussex duo and contained info that I did not know which I found interesting.

The front part of the book was about the early life and upbringing of both M and H.

Some bits of interest:

M's Dad was very successful and met Doria when she was working at one of his jobs.

Both her parents adored their "Flower" as they called her.

They lived in a very big house, with both Tom's older children Tom Jr. and Samantha and there was much visiting back and forth with Doria's family with no hard feelings or antagonism. Everybody apparently got along fine.

Tom worked long hours and Doria was upset that in their neighborhood she was sometimes mistaken for M's nanny when taking her for walk.

Doria left and got her own place when M was very small.

M learned to act as intermediary between her parents..."Ask your father this", "Ask your mother that", etc. She (M) learned how to deal with both parents.

When she was age 2 she was sent to The Little Red Schoolhouse which was a very progressive and very expensive school. There she made a close friend of the same age: Ninaki Priddy. Much visiting back and forth, overnights, etc.

In 6th grade both girls transferred to Immaculate Heart Catholic Girls School (very expensive) which had a corresponding boys' school which encouraged friendships between the 2 groups in a way to avoid them mixing with the wrong element. While there M had a steady (white) who was a basketball player. Boy later transferred to Wake Forest and now makes his living as a basketball coach. He's married with (1?) chid. M campaigned for and became Homecoming Queen.

M would take trips with NP's family, including Europe leading to the picture in front of Buckingham Palace.

Harry's upbringing involved different styles from each of his parents.

D&C were privately split after H was born. Diana with James Hewitt (and others).

Both W & H spent a lot of time with Charles at Highgrove and C loved teaching them about the country and country matters. They learned about nature and to ride (taught by James Hewitt) and shoot. I think they spent most (as I recall) weekends as boys at Highgrove. Charles hired Tiggy Leggy-Bourke to assist with the boys when they stayed with him. Both W & H loved Tiggy.

Diana preferred the city life and lived at Kensington Palace. Harry was definitely a Mama's boy and loved nothing better than being home and snuggling and hugging with Diana. As a result his attendance at his first nursery school and his progress their suffered. William, being older, was also more interesting in education and did well as a student. At Eton, William did well scholastically and was well liked, while Harry at Eton was roundly disliked and examples include him hurling anti-Semetic insults at a Jewish student playing on another school's team during a sporting match.

When she was in love with someone, Diana could be easy to get a long with but when she was not, she was contentious, difficult and blamed Charles for everything that was wrong. The first part of the video is about how Diana would have viewed MM, etc.

The second part of the video, she answers the question "Do you think Diana was murdered?" !!!

Her answer was fascinating and (she thought the answer was "No") but the rest of her answer was (for me) jaw dropping.

I read that Diana’s bulimia was so bad at one point that she even stopped using toothpaste because she thought that it had too many calories. Combine that with the constant purging...her breath was allegedly toxic.
